If your like me I kept getting baked and forgot to register so while I finally got around to doing it I wrote down the process. Feel free to copy this guide and put it wherever you see fit (facebook, ), i don't even care if you edit it and repost it as your own just so long as it gets people out there to vote on 2.

This quick walkthrough is intended to help others to quickly and with the least amount of effort to register and vote for this up coming election in Florida.

First thing you want to do is follow the below to check if you are already registered.

VOTING REGISTRATION ENDS OCTOBER 6, 2014

    1. First download, print and fill out the voter registration card located at

    http://election.dos.state.fl.us/pdf/webappform.pdf

You will need a PDF reader in order to open this file. I recommend the free reader available from Adobe (http://get.adobe.com/reader/)

    2. Once it has been filled out carefully check to make sure all the information is accurate, you dont want your vote not counted because you left something out. Once done put the registration card in an envelope.

    3. On the 2nd page of the registration form is a list of addresses for each county registration office in Florida. Find your county and mail in your registration form.
If you are not sure what county you are in you can use the link below to show you a map of all the counties. In the lower left hand corner there is a drop down menu that lists all of the cities in florida. Select your city and the county box right next to it will be filled with your county.

    http://election.dos.state.fl.us/SOE/supervisor_elections.asp

    4. You should hear back from the supervisor of elections with 8 weeks notifying you that you have been successfully registered. If you do not hear back from them after 8 weeks I would contact the supervisor of elections to find out whats taking so long.
Thats it, you are now registered and ready to cast your vote. Now you should choose how you want to vote ie. absentee ballot or standing in line for hours on end......... and end...... and end...... seriously pick the absentee ballot.

Attached to this post is an Florida absentee ballot request form (again you will need a pdf reader, see above). If you wish to obtain an absentee ballot specifically from your county then use the information and link in section 3 to find out your county and then click on that county on the map. A new screen will load with the Supervisor of elections photo and links to his/her email and url to their homepage. Click the link to their homepage.
Here is where it gets tricky, each supervisors page is different so you will need to find the absentee ballot link on your own. Usually at the top there will be a link labeled either vote by mail or absentee, Both are the same. Follow the instructions to request an absentee form and once it's received fill that bad boy out.
Make sure you mail your ballot ASAP. If it's election day and you have an "oh shit" moment because you forgot you still have until 7pm on election day to drive and hand deliver it to the election office.
Remember, one vote does matter. Vote yes on 2!

  8. He did reply in this thread, that's why I got confused on what I'm voting.

  9. oh no, he used to reply to every little post made. I meant replied to any post from today.

  10. It's it too late to do an address change.? I don't have a registered voter card but I am registered but I moved so my voting location changed. My drivers license has my old address on it. Am I gonna have any problems if I just go to my new voting location.? My mom is in the same boat as me.
