Vaporizers

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by JamicanRum, Sep 18, 2014.

  1. Hello people, first of I have a job interview tomorrow. So If I get the job I will get my last bag before a week or two tolerance break. I am going to start training again, eating healthy etc. Usually I would smoke tobacco with my weed, however it is disgusting and I only do it because it's so dear. Is vaporizers healthier? Do they leave a weed smell? Which one do I buy?I want to continue using weed but as they say your healthy your wealth, so tobacco is out the window now!

    Cheers

  2. 1. In a way, yeah, it's healthier, but it really doesn't make a difference health-wise if you smoke it.

    2. They leave a very subtle weed smell that will vanish quite quickly and easily.

    3. Get a PAX, Da Vinci, volcano, or MFLB, all of it depends on your budget.

I'm not as educated in vapes as I am glassware, so you can expect more detailed answers from somebody else also willing to help.

  3.
Combusted plant material releases benzine and carbon monoxide, both of which are toxins that ARE detrimental to your health.

  4. It's still not that great, although it's easier on your lungs to inhale vapor rather than smoke. I second the Pax. It's kind of expensive, but well worth it.

  5.
There are many, including myself that don't share that opinion.

  6. congratulations? I don't really care..you can think however you want.

As can you.    Just offering up a different perspective, not to you necessarily, but to others that may be reading this thread.

  8. The Pax was not one of my favorites. The build quality was unexpectedly low, and the vapor was hot. I like my MFLB, and it is relatively inexpensive. The Pax reminds me of Apple products, a lot of money for something with a recognized brand name that may not live up to your expectations.

  9. That doesn't sound too correct. If they "ARE" detrimental to your health, why has nobody died from that exact cause? I mean, after all, what you've just listed kills people.

  10. @[member="wumboshouse"] You are joking right? Like seriously? Can I put you in a room and fill it with carbon monoxide, I mean its not detrimental to your health right?

You can get all kinds of nasty lung diseases without dying such as COPD along with all it's varients     You could also get cancers from those toxins that may not settle in your lungs at all.

Here is one study on vaporization versus combustion to check out.   I can also pull up others if you wish:

"The vaporizer produced THC at a temperature of 185 C. (365 F.) while completely eliminating three measured toxins - benzene, a known carcinogen, plus toluene and naphthalene. Carbon monoxide and smoke tars were both qualitatively reduced by the vaporizer, but additional testing is needed to quantify the extent of the decrease."

  12. *facepalm*

  13. So are you gonna try to tell me vaporizing can't cause COPD? Because it can. It's not noticeably healthier, but like I said, it is healthier.

  14. lol, I'm 100% aware of that, but there's no way in hell it can kill you in the amount of smoking, or damage your brain for that matter, so it really doesn't matter.

  17. One more thing, cancer is manmade, so if you grow your weed organically like I, you don't have to fuss about vaporizing your shit to stay alive lol

  19. Cancer is not man-made. Cancer is a mutation in the DNA in a cell causing it to multiply exponentially. The word cancer is man made. And yes the combination of toxins being inhaled can cause cancer or copd, you know the introduction of carcinogens to healthy cells.
