    Hey GC, wassup all,

One day, one glorious day, i'd like to learn how to surf. Never done that before. I can swim pretty good, and go to the gym too i've got the endurance and power.

Any tips to a future beginner surfer?

    thanks all, good day :)

  2. Open the wetsuit before you pee.

  3. ROFL!  :hello:

  4. i've wanted to learned but i'm almost 27 so I figure I'm probably too old to get into that lol

  5. I did for the first time this summer. First time I went out I was terrible, I could stand up but id just fall right off. Second time I did a lot better and was actually riding them. It was a blast and I definitely recommend trying it at least once. I snowboard so I thought it would be easy to get the hang of but not so much. Also definitely have a wet suit or at least one of the shirts, I ripped my chest and knees all up.

  6. Hell ya i surf. SoCal ftw. Fairly Easy to learn, very difficult to be good at. Just don't give up, you will fall off a lot. And be patient. Wait for nice waves, don't try to take every one that comes along.

  7. when i was younger, not anymore. i regret dropping it though

  8. I can surf, dont surf often only when the waves are pretty good.

Once you learn to stand up it is pretty easy, but its easier to learn than it is to be great at.

If you open the wetsuit before you piss, you are making a mistake. If it is cold enough for a wetty you better pee inside of it all zipped up to keep you extra warm :)

    27 is still young,

i'm 27, imo what's more important is your "physical" age, or physical ability.

Somebody can be 18, obese as fuck, always layin around not doing anything and barely being able to walk.

  10. Always wanted to try but rip tide currents scare the hell out of me :(

  11. I learned when I was a freshman in highschool it wasn't too bad. I snowboarded long boarded and skateboarded before I think that helped my balance.
