So as the title describes, I forgot to add an ingredient (gypsum) into my soil mix. The soil has been cooking for roughly 3 or 4 weeks or so but I still have another 2-3 before I'm actually going to use it. It's already fantastic looking with white fuzz all over the top and real nice density. I also have crab meal in there as well so I figured it wouldn't be too bad not adding it. My soil mix is very thorough and I use a plethora of different ingredients, I just always freak out when I forget to add something and would rather not second guess myself for the next couple weeks. Thanks for the input man! Just didn't know if mixing it once it had the white fuzz was counter productive in some way.
I agree with coot's advice on adding it. The white fuzzy stuff will grow back. Or if you don't want to add it now, just top dress it later when you transplant...
