how did both of you guys get that conclusion? i think it would be considered custom made? some headshop owner who blows his own glass made it. i considered contacting him about it but he is transferring his shop to a different location and fell off the map. so i have no way of contacting him till he opens his shop again.

    but either way thankyou

  5. All my bongs have been 18.8mm, I know what it looks like when I see one. There's not many sizes to joints.

Ah, Just the contrary. There are MILLIONS of possible sizes, Ranging from 1.1 to 99999999999999999.99 (Is there anything that big or small? I personally never seen any). The size is simply decided by the blower.

A glass blower could monopolize on this. If they wanted to make their own line of glass to be specifically 16.32mm, You would be forced to buy replacement pieces solely from then.

The two most popular would be 18/14mm. But its not a required size. OP stated that this is a custom bowl on a custom bong. The only way to tell size accurately is with a ruler Or by contacting tthem.

But in short, Its very likely that it is 18mm (18.8mm usually).

Regardless of the fact that the LHS has a "custom blower" most likely the ground glass joints are prefab...

If I was a betting man, I'd say that's an 18mm. Bust out a ruler and measure the diameter of the frosted glass looking part (ground glass joint), it's either 14 or 18mm.

  8. If it's an 18 mm joint, the widest part of it should be about the width of a dime, assuming you're in the US.

  9. Of course, that's the obvious. But I'm telling you right now, my money is all in on 18.8mm. OP wanted answers, so I gave it to him. And by custom bowl, he probably means by a glass blower.
