How To Tell If Grade 2 Ti

Discussion in 'Concentrate Tools' started by shattermatter00, Sep 16, 2014.

  1. Hey, so I just recently found out that certain types of titanium nails can be harmful to smoke off of. I know that you want a grade 2 nail. But I got my nail when dabbing was just becoming popular in my area and it has no markings. Is there a way to tell if it's grade 2? It has no green color, white oxidation, pits, or anything like that which I hear is a sign of low quality Ti. It has turned a metallic purple/bluish color in the right lighting. I hear that's good. Any feedback or knowledge would be nice except "just get a quartz/ceramic nail" lol
