Interstitial Cystitis, And Ibs Questions

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by TheLostMan, Sep 13, 2014.

  1. I've been smoking a little bit to try and cope with pains related to these two illnesses.
Hopefully this isn't going into TMI territory, but I figured since this is a medical forum it should be ok.

It's helped overall at least a little bit. For those of you that do not know, interstitial cystitis is a scarring of bladder/urethral tissues that do not heal, or do not heal properly. It hurts like a UTI when I get a flareup...

I have noticed slight pain, and that my urine was more grey, obviously related to the act of actually smoking.

Does anyone else have something similar? Has vaporizing worked better for you?

  2.
out of curiosity, why is it obvious that smoking is turning your piss grey? if anything thats almost unheard of.

  3. I've never seen it before I started smoking.
And it's not like, really grey just more grey than it usually is.

If it hasn't happened to anyone it could be related to something else entirely. Maybe time to go into the walkin clinic again.

  4. A family member with Crohn's put his disease in remission with RSO and a vegan diet. My understanding is that smoking provided some relief, but RSO was the real cure.

  5. I have IC and recently got a medical card to help with flares. My favorite for daytime so I can still be productive is to smoke Gelato with my Bubbler - it doesn't take much since I'm a newbie. I use the gLeaf extra strength indica tincture from the dispensary at night, although I don't use a full dropper (usually half). The MJ has made a huge difference in my quality of life during flares. And seems to help me get out of them more quickly... anti-inflammatory effect, maybe?

I'm trying to make some tincture on my own from my Gelato flower so I don't have to smoke it because I also have asthma.
