    Hey Grasscity,

So I just put 1g of super dank S5 Haze (which is supposedly lab tested at 23% THC and personally tested to have very low CBD content) and half a gram of ABV (from amnesia and white widow) in a small nice jar and placed it in the oven at 100 C.
I set a cooking alarm and went back to work. So.. my cooking alarm failed on me and by the time it had been in the oven for 90 minutes I cussingly rushed back to the kitchen and took it out immediately and placed it in a cool spot.

I think I already made the mistake of adding the ABV before decarbing because ABV really doesn't need a decarb, and now I decarbed the whole batch way too long.

I wanted to make weed brownies with BadKat's tek for a special party, but I'm afraid I just turned my weed into sleeping aids because a lot of THC supposedly transformed into CBN now.

Should I still use it for making brownies? Everyone is kind of excited because I told them I had a great tek for brownies. So it would kinda be a dissapointment if we'd just fall asleep at 10PM...

  2. 1and a half grams is nowhere near enough to make brownies more like an ounce.

I have made them many times and I know from experience that 0,15-0,20g of bud per person is enough. I actually did 0,25g per person once and then someone puked because it was too much.....

Everytime I made them I only decarbed for about 20-30 minutes, though now I left it in way too long. Im wondering how the effects would change.

  4. and you plan to just eat your single serving in front of them right lol?

Wait you decarbed AVB? That's the silliest thing I've heard all day. You basically ruined that.

As for the other, probably the same. And you want to split that between multiple people? Oh man.

Never in my life have I heard of someone putting a g in a batch of brownies. Are you and another person eating half a tray each?? Those will be the weakest lamest brownies.

  8. Just try it out and report back to us. I do edibles alot and my experience is the same as yours with dosage. I wonder if others are doing something wrong?

  9. i would like to hear an update on the OPs situation

  10. I would try mixing eating some and see what happens.  I've over decarbed some buds before and I'm pretty sure the THC broke down to CBN, which can cause one to be dizzy and feel unpleasant.  I made a tincture with over-decarbed buds and got so dizzy I could not stand up. (wasn't fun)  Totally ruined 8 grams of good buds.

  11. What does decarbing a bud do?

At first I thought this was about quick drying bud.

  12. it converts THCA to THC (the good stuff :smoking:)

  13. A gram and a half will get 4 people high and im sure its going to be fine even though it was decarbed to the max,

I like to use at least 1/4 oz to make a pan of brownies. That's at least 12 strong doses.

    Sup, OP here.

Allright, so everyone ate about 1/12'th of the total cake, so 1/12g fresh weed and 1/12g ABV each, both decarbed for 90 minutes, as you already knew.
High was really nice, I made a nice lounge in front of my tv consisting of 2 wide matresses and a shitload of pillows and all we actually did for about 24 hours was take naps, watch netflix, listen to some mellow music, peel fruits, cook chili and made a lot of tea.

So, yeah the stuff turned out to be really nice. Very couchlocking as expected, but very relaxing because of that. CBN isn't bad stuff at all I suppose.
I'm not sure why everyones using so much more weed... I always keep it to 0,2g of weed per person max, even when I do decarb it properly... You guys are sure all using coconut oil, cook/freeze it twice, add soy lecithin and not cooking above 120C right? Basically the BadKay TEK stuff?

Oh by the way, we also vaped a little bit with it as well, but only after we were getting over the peak of the brownies.

So, long story short: superlong decarb caused a really relaxing couchlock high, just don't expect to do a lot of activity stuff. CBN, hell yeah guys, relieve your stress 'n stuff.

Where can i find friends who want to chill on a mattress full of pillows? Nohomo

  16.
That sounds like a shitload of fun!

  17.
Sure was, gotta love some properly prepared stoner chillout sessions :)

  18. Sounds like a blast but I still have a hard time believing everyone got high on .25 g.
Do you guys have no tolerance? I don't even FEEL an edible under .5 g man

  19.
Yes indeed. Most of my blades have a very straightforward and less inventive style of toking, which basically is about scoring a pickup, sitting down to smoke up and to watch movies/play video games. While I don't see anything wrong with that, being part of it myself, but sometimes it'd be fun to do something a little more inventive.

I don't think tolerance is to blame. I definately felt one brownie (containing 1/12g fresh weed + 1/12g ABV) and my tolerance is not too low I think, because when occasional weed smokers take a hit from my vape they always tell me it hits them really hard, while I'm just toking away. Another friend of mine who was smoking a gram of >20%THC weed a day at the time told me he could definately feel a brownie I made (which was from another batch, which was 1/6g fresh weed per brownie). He told me it was actually the first edible he ever felt.

Because my freezer is broken and the brownies would spoil anyway I also decided to eat about 4 of the current batch, just for the heck of it. Well, that was too much, I felt nauseous, my short term memory got erased every 5 seconds, I could barely move and I just fell asleep before it even peaked.

So yeah, maybe its just the recipe that I use that makes them work with such little weed, it's quite extensive, I could post it if you want.

It sure is better to mix it up, yes. Because me and my friends kinda always vape/smoke/eat weed at any kind of social event that kinda happens automatically though. I once went out for a run and played some soccer on a vape+sativa high, quite nice :).
