I Have decided to go from cfl to LED. Im looking for A full spectrum led 1000w light for under $400. Any links or websites? Heat would be an issue with hps. I heard leds do t give off much heat at all. A blunt a day keeps the doctors away!
I just read you can go half the wattage you'd use for hps... So i only need 500-600 watt... Is this possible? A blunt a day keeps the doctors away!

I will be comparing it to a BML SPYDR 600 (~ 333w, Osram 3w diodes) that I had a damn fine resut with in my prior grow Not exactly a side-by-side, but the comparison should be interesting as the SS has a much higher umole / sm, so even though the SS has ~ 20% fewer watts, it could be neck and neck
Im using a 50x50x79 inch tent so about 5x5 Im not looking to get anything top of the line because i am trying this. But i dont want to get something from china for my house to burn down... Any advice from experience would help. A blunt a day keeps the doctors away!
good luck finding something for 400$. im trying to fill a 2x4x6 tent and im looking to spend about 400$ just to fill a smaller space.
Hey tip keep this updated for me cause I really want to know what you find. I'm very interested in LEDs cause of heating issues of hps and energy cost. I'ts kinda all over the place tho when I research. And amazon will have two exact same lights different brand one is $175 and the other is $375. It's frustrating. But if it's true that about 2/3 the wattage is equal to hps that's awesome.
No doubt man. Those are the same reasons i want LED. And the trics are i creased from what i saw. I want to grow purple strains in the future so heat needs to be my last issue A blunt a day keeps the doctors away!
