Lowest Temperature Autoflowering Strain Can Survive?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by alex80202, Sep 13, 2014.

  1. what is the lowest temperature an autoflowering strain can survive?

i figure, that because of the ruderalis genetics in an autoflower, it may be able to survive lower temperatures than strains made up of purely indica/sativa.

for example, will an autoflower seedling be able to survive temperature lows of 2 degrees celsius (35.6 fahrenheit)? the highest temperature of the day being 18-22 degrees celsius (65-72 fahrenheit)

    help greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

  2. Try it out and see what happens. Or google things before you ask in forums, either way.

  3. googled thoroughly. little, if any information regarding this topic precisely.

thought perhaps some people on here might have a bit of experience or some knowledge or something.

  4. Anything less than 15c will kill the plants, and even at 15 i wouldnt keep it there for long.

Ask one of the Amsterdam seed banks. they have a "contact us" section. Northern Lights is pretty hardy, I just do not think that cold hardy. The internet is full of answers.
