The Neville's I took to almost 10 weeks of flower to reach "Midamber" She is a strong Sativa, so I balanced by letting the trichomes reach half amber. ..

To balance the high THC with the narcotic, more sleepy CBN.

**Always Always, let your plants go am extra week or two, when you"think" it's ready**

The flowers fatten up substantially in the last week or so.

I was going to chop her on day 63, but something told me to wait, ...I was just about to start chopping and stopped. .

The next morning the flowers got so heavy, the Colas just flopped over from the extra weight :)..

    Yes, just one night cycle.

    Afternoon Blades.

    Just finished curing some ...

    Organic Outdoor Bruce Banner #3
Absolutely lives up to all the hype.

(Of which I was extremely skeptical of)

As she was curing in the jar, the jar was absolutely caked with trichomes.

I've since transferred into Ziplocks due to space limitations in my safe, one day of being in the bags, the Ziplocks are now caked to the point of barely being able to see through the bag.
    :D

Needles to say, I'm keeping the Ziplocks to collect the trichomes after it's....uhhh. .
"Smoked" I've done it before, and it is 90% + heads. .

**This is why is suggest curing and drying using paper bags to dry and cure your flowers**

I personally line the giant Mason Jars with parchment, or put into paper bags and put the bag into the Jars.

Okay, sorry for all the chatter, let's see some pics.

I will rock a bunch more gut shots here soon, gotta *smoke* a bunch before I want to start busting these beauties open.

Stay tuned for some more detailed shots, trying to handle these flowers as delicately as possible for a bit.

  11. Can't wait to see the cleaned sift brotha.

  12. Loving the updates, do you have big screens you clean your sift on? Been looking for some recently so i can trim over just not sure where to look!

    :smoke:

  13. Thank ya kindly brotha :)

Nope, I desperately want to get the large DrySiftWizard sift kit.
(We were in talks of me advertising for him on ICMAG, but I haven't gotten back with him since)

(I went through/ still am going through a bit of depression...... In my mid 30s , and can no longer work due to my disability , currently awaiting a hearing to finalize my SSDI decision )

But, I'm slowly snapping out of it.. If I can just get going on one damn extraction of some sort, I'll be good....
But, my pain levels are just too high ATM ...

I have about a lb to extract via water( trim & larf)and a lb and a half to extract via solvent (all giant sticky frosted flowers)
So, tomorrow the weather is supposed to warm up I'm going to force myself to get something done, once I get started, the depression flies out the window. Then I just keep going and going...

For those that have seen my "Resin Journal" on ICMAG ...they can attest that I was running one or the other 2-3 x a week....lol

But, to answer your question ...

I've cut the mesh out of my old bubble bag set, and pulled it taught across one of them round cookie tins....

I got a pic in my album, I'll post her up in a minute.

The trouble is the small size, need lots more surface area.
But..... I should be able to produce some killer sift, with some more ingenuity and some carding and/or vibration.

Went ahead and grabbed the picture,...

    ^^^
I think I'm going to switch to using a Five gallon bucket, and it's lid.

I will take the lid, and cut a hole into it following the inner perimeter of the lid, then place the mesh on the lid, stretch it taught and put the lid back on the bucket.

And obviously, I'll cut the bottom 3/4 of the bucket out.

I'll do this tomorrow and get some more pics up.

But I've been using the above^^^^ to trim some sugar leaf off, it gives me some nice bowl toppers.

I need to snap out of the depression badly, and get back on my game.

It may be difficult to understand what in the hell I've got to be depressed about???

Almost 2 decades of moderate to severe pain and random bouts of nausea, anxiety and insomnia, and working full time throughout all that...
It's hard for me to admit that I'm truly disabled, but I am...

And it's time that I not only accept that, but embrace it...
Because now.... I'm free to live however I'd like.... Hell I'm already living my dream...

Just growing and extracting is my life...

All I need to do is get my garden rolling again... And getting my ass to get back to doing my extracts...

Life is good, and I need to start reflecting that.
Peace brotha.... Thanks for listening/ reading my rant.
    :bongin:

  14. Thanks for the long reply brotha and taking a quick picture for me! I do have a set of bubble bags so maybe ill do something similar. Was hoping id be able to find some large screens to make a big sifter just like the one in the dry sift kit and make my own. One to trim right over mainly.

If you ever need to PM me about anything brotha dont hesitate. I'm all ears and willing to help you however i can! If only i was a little closer, but even then if you ever need anything just holler at me. Im not far at all.

I know exactly what you're saying about when you start getting things done you feel much better..Get out there and kick some ass tomorrow :metal:

    Keep on keepin on

Well, today, my disease got the best of me, dizzy and nauseated all day. ..

However, I did some work on my Sieve idea.

I kept the cookie tin lid, cut out a piece of parchment paper fit to size.

Edit; this will make it very easy to collect the sieved resin, and have the ability, to switch from 200-160-120-73, plus the resin won't stick to anything.

Cut out my old 160 and my old 120.

    Then I started feeling shitty..

Since I'm working with rough sift, the surface area isn't as crucial.

Did take some new pics, but I'm not as happy with them using the light from my window. ..I wanna be outside for my pics, but still snowy and shit, where I take my pictures.
