  1. Hi everyone!
So, this is my first grow and it is an all outdoor grow. I am in the mid-west-ish area. I have been flowering for a few weeks now however about two weeks ago I had an unfortunate incident. My plant was ripped up from the ground by mistake and was out of soil for about a day and half. I quickly replanted once I realized what had happened but the top half of the plant was broken off and well, I figured I would at least try and salvage the rest. I can definitely tell that some of the flowers are growing still but it seems like they have been at the same spot for a week or so now. I am doing a 12/12 light cycle and have been for about a three weeks.

I have attached some pictures to show the progress of the most "mature" flower on the plant. It goes from this guy all the way down to one tiny baby one on the bottom that just grew new pistils within the last day or two. I will post more photo's when I get a chance.

I was just wondering though, how does it look like it is doing? Does the flower still look healthy?
I took a photo of the whole plant as well to show what happened when the top broke off. I was very, very sad to say the least.

I just took a bunch of quick pictures to show you guys what I am working with and to get some feedback and suggestions on how I can get these to plump up quickly and so I can get it out of the ground and harvest. It is starting to get cold here quickly!!

    Thanks everyone!

Here is the link to all the photos, I created an album instead of uploading 20 pics to this thread. However, I did attach a few main ones.

  2. Anyone have any advice from what can be seen in the pictures? Should I harvest soon to save what little yield I may have or ride it out in hopes it will pull itself together? Any and all advice/criticism or whatever is welcome and appreciated! I found a seed in some either GSC or Blue Dream....or that is what I was told the buds were, probably was lied to a little bit on that, and germinated the seed then planted it just for shits and giggles and now have probably at least an 8ths worth of free bud!

Thanks in advance for all the help!

  3. See that is exactly what I am having trouble with.... am I waiting for the trichomes  to be 40% amber or big buds? I feel as though the plant is going to die and it's going to be winter before the buds get to be a significant size... I am definitely going to wait at least until the end of September, unless it starts to look anymore sickly.

    Thanks for the advice!

  4. ok sounds good, thanks again!
I will definitely keep you updated with what happens!

  5. Jumper -
What region are you in? I am in the mid-west. The last two days did not break above 54 degrees. Kind of sad in multiple ways.
What is the coldest temp the plant can endure, do you happen to know? I did some searching and found everything from no lower than 55-60 degrees all the way to it can handle down to like 35 degrees or a little colder. Not sure which is right?

  6. Im east coast. If it dips below 40 is what I go by I had plants survive at 50 degrees some strains cam handle the cold some cant just keep an eye on u can go up to first frost if need be but make sure if it does frost that plant is out the ground that day just make sure when u water its at the warmest part of the day

  7. Awesome! Thank you so much Jumper for all of your insight! That info helps me out a lot and answers a lot of my questions! Much appreciated!!

  8. UPDATE:

So, here are some pictures from Today and Yesterday. These pictures are about 2-3 days later than the ones from the original post. I am just going to keep updating every two days or so with pictures just to continue to get advice from everyone.

When she is ready to be harvested, I have been trying to do a lot of research on this but cannot get a definite answer that I like. Should I just cut her at the base of the stem or cut each branch separate? I am guessing at the base to make it easier to hang? Advice on that would be appreciated  as well  :smoke:

Needless to say, each day I look at her I get more and more excited and anxious! But definitely am going to wait until the perfect time and make sure I take the right amount of time to cure.

    Now for the pictures!

  9. So how does a marijuana plant accidentally get ripped out of the ground? And if you are growing outdoors then how do you have under a 12/12....never mind. Just nevermind

Sent from my Galaxy Note II. I know you bitchez be jealous.

  10. BeerBrwer - I am pretty sure I have explained how it is under 12/12 or it is the description of the Album.

You can COVER plants and put them in total darkness, it also helps if you plant them in a location that does not get the sun throughout the whole day.

And it was ripped from the ground by someone who did not know what it was.

If you are not going to offer any advice or anything productive at all, please just keep the comments to yourself...you contributed nothing to this topic.
