Strange Hallucinations On Weed?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by novaboot, Sep 10, 2014.

  1. So I've been smoking for a few months now, but today I got high and some weird shit happened. After smoking a few bowls of some lemon haze outside, I walked back into my house and started to head to my room. But on the way there, I began to hear this weird ass music, and it started to freak me out, so I was just standing there and I thought " I really wish this music would stop" and then the music got all distorted and weird then slowly faded out. Then, I went in my room, and decided to turn on my water speakers and listen to some music and just chill out and watch the speakers. (If you don't know what water speakers are, google it. They're pretty legit to watch when your stoned.) but anyway, I was watching them, and my peripheral vision started to fade out, until most of my vision was blackness, except the thing I was focusing on, and the walls started to get really swirly and shit. I know that the weed wasn't laced, because I've had it before and it was pretty normal. I'm not saying I didn't like the hallucinations, they were actually quite entertaining, but does anyone else have this kind of stuff happen to them when they're high?

  2. no, cant say i have heard things or hallucinated before. sounds like ur weed was definitely laced.

  3. Weed does not cause hallucinations, so it must have been as laced as a pair of high top Converses!

  4. I get these kind of things when I smoke at night while super drowsy.
My mind slowly slips in and out of microsleep so my imagination/dreams/thoughts get mixed up with real life.

  5. Hey man, I had a thread about almost the same thing, is called Tripping out on weed -Lemon Haze is a really strong sativa, I hallucinated on it before and blacked out, marijuana CAN make you halluicnate depending on the strain, however it's hard to explain like a strong mild, NOTHING as close to LSD though, most of the time you don't hallucinate :-D

  6. Not laced OP. Dont listen to em. These highs happen like your first few times, but when anyone hears hallucinations here they just yell laced, when they just dont understand or remember they experienced the same high their 1/2 time

  7. Yeah, I knew it wasn't laced, as I got it from someone I know and trust very well. I hadn't tried lemon haze before though, so it was definitely a different kind of high. Thanks for the help guys!

Weed can cause hallucinations, but it is rare.  Also I really doubt your weed or anyone elses is going to be laced, esp at reg prices.  How could a dealer make money by lacing weed with coke, meth, pills, lsd, etc?  Now they might wet your weed to make it weigh more, so they can rip you off like that.  But laced with other drugs, hell no.

And my friend got really really high his first time and did hallucinate.  I smoked a gram with just me and him b/c he couldn't get high the 1st time he smoked, so I was gonna make sure.  Well we def over did it.  We were at a indoor soccer game, and I see him get up and walk off.  When he comes back, I'm like where did you go?  He said his shirt jumped off him and ran away, so he went to get it, haha.  There was no reason for him to lie to me or anyone else about it, plus it was his 1st time smoking weed and we smoked a gram between us of some dank.  So it can happen.

But your experience seemed more like you almost went into a trance type thing.  that is where you are so focused on a single spot, then the outside of your vision can do some crazy stuff.  I can do this staring at something with a lot of patterns, say like a tile floor.  I can stare at a certain spot, and the peripheral vision will have the tiles almost look like they are moving.  Its pretty  much like an optical illusion type thing.  I wouldn't worry about it.

  9. I've found when I stay still and just stare at a spot, my peripheral vision will start to fade to grey and it'd all come back if I move my eyes around. Maybe you were just doing this haha. But for the music that sounds trippy but kinda cool.
