Is This A Hermie

  1. this new growth looks like a male flower but i dont know, never seen anything like it, does anyone know if this is a female or male flower? i included pic, area in question is at bottom node of pic. thanks

  3. Just looks like a large calyx with some pistils... Don't know about it being a herm
     
  4. No hermie, just a random calyx...grow forth into the unknown brother.
     
  5. thank you all for replies...there are two of these calyx on every node, none have opened up. just odd looking
     
  6. You are fine. Some strains develop a calyx there. My outdoor Casey Jones has them too. You can trim it off at harvest and add it to the trim to be turned into concentrate. You could dry and smoke them but they will dry into almost nothing.

    found a few bananas today in random areas, plucked them off and ate them lol. i was reading that late in flowering females produce male flowers when stressed out... This paricular strain (unknown) was late to flower here in the North East, perhaps that stressed plant into male flowers. My other plants were about a month ahead into flower... I took clones of this plant at pre-flower will see what happens next year. The picture i took of the calyx is still looking the same with sticky trichomes on it...
