Don't go by the pistils quite frankly. The trichomes are indicating the THC breaking down. Depends on the strain and the type of effect you want. What strain and what effect do you want?

  5. thc bomb, couch lock/ appetite

  6. Time fore the experts on this strain to jump in. my gut tells me this strain could get you what you want at 50% amber.

  7. Wait. it surprised me to find out that a plant can go amber, then clear and cloudy before going amber again. If the pistils are still white and haven't receeded that means the plant is still maturing and packing on weight. You would be cheating yourself to harvest now. Wait until the whole package looks ready. Swollen calyxes, brown pistils that have pulled back into the calyxes, and at least 10% amber Trichomes with round bulbous tops. I honestly pay the least attention to Trichomes because they can be deceptive IMO.

  8. Next time find a strain high in cbd. Letting cannabis go until trichs amber only makes flowers less potent. THC converts to CBN a fake couch lock stimulant. Cbd naturally has your desired affects. Harvest milky trichs. If making medicine decarbonization is key...again unless you are selling it and trying to get max weight for more profit you will be waiting and watching your trichs mature and spoil right before your eyes 85% milky 10% amber 5% clear is ideally when to harvest!

  9. thats exactly what I think is happening here. I never seen this before, normally pistils receed then I look at the trichomes It looks like i'm getting new white pistils. I'm not the most patience person but I think i'm gonna give it a little more time.
