  6. looking nice!

  7. BBK can be tempermental, as I learned to my distress when trying to go hydro.

pH rules I learned were 6.4 to 7, and it worked until I developed a root problem that caused the stem to separate from the root ball...I later found out this was an infection because the gravel wasn't sterile, as advertised.

For your BBK, it's not overnutrient...that would give the leaves "burn", and make them get crisp, not droopy. Did you let the water sit for a day, or use an aquarium water purification dose on it? Did you use bottled water? Spring, not distilled?

Tap water if you're not on a well often has chemicals in it that are bad for the plant...let your water sit for a day or two before using it, so these settle, or "purify" the water with the same stuff used for active fish tanks. Distilled water won't work AT ALL, even after adding nutrients and minerals...don't ask me why, since once you do that, it's no longer distilled water, but it's true.
