At once? I bought a kilo of Maui wowie back in 1977 for $1000.

 

Most I've bought at one time was a mere half ounce. Weak sauce

 

pro tip: you dont buy kilos for personal use. kilos are bought and sold by dealers. only people with personal kilos are growers. 
 
Holy crap, I would love to have that much herb in my possession at one time. Especially Maui! How long did that last you??

Quarter pounds for 500-600 usually pick up 2 and an ounce of bho for 450-600 depending on quality...usually spend around 1500 for half pound of herb and an ounce of high quality nug run bho

 

My guys wont come around for less than a qp, and when its real cheap from BC I'll pick up a p once in a while.

 

When I was living in NY I would buy 2oz to a qp for 700 to 1200.

Since moving to Cali a few months ago I can get the same from 200 to 500 but the largest I buy now is in quarter oz, such a wide variety between growers and clinics, don't need 4 zips of the same strain.

An oz? I smoke too much apparently. When I was buying bud I was smoking more, but usually I would get a lb if I had the cash.

Biggest before I stated growing? About 2 lbs, it was between me and a buddy that were tired of picking up a qp every week.

10 lbs back when I was younger, and was goaded into it because of where we were and how cheap it was. It went back home and was split evenly between about 20 of us. None of it to my knowledge was ever sold for profit. It was 5 lbs of purple haze and 5 lbs MK Ultra. Those were the days.

 

3lbs. This was about 10 years ago when my buddy was growing. Wasn't the greatest bud in the world, but was on par with stuff we'd get consistently back then. Thankfully, the homie hookup allowed me to splurge. In the end, I essentially received 2lbs for free and got to smoke every day for over a year (and I was always the friend that hooked up people, so most of them smoked pretty well too). Strains were White Widow, Northern Lights and some unknown bagseed he grew that turned out to be the best strain of the bunch. Lived on a lake back then that had long, narrow islands within it and we'd always go out there on our paddle boats, chill & smoke while fishing, swimming, having bottle rocket wars, etc. I really miss those days now that I'm actually thinking about it for more than a few seconds. Being a bit OCD, I took the entire 2lbs I kept and individually bagged it up into 8th's for daily consumption. Some days the 8th would be gone, some days I'd have a little left. The leftovers I'd throw into a separate container and after 1-2 months, I'd take everything from the jar (plus my 8th for the day) and go overboard on smoking for that day with my friends.
 
I may not smoke as much anymore, but the cannabis these days is fucking fire, so I'm not complain' (much). Really would like to snag a few pounds again at one time in the not-so-distant future, but will wait until the right deal presents itself.
