This is my very first grow but have read many of the forums over the past few months!! I am very eager to learn so any advice is helpful!! I stared with three feminized bubbilicous girls and one rando back around august 4 th. I was reluctant to start a journal as i like to have my info straight before diving in. I am always changing my grow setup with trial an error over the past few weeks as the budget affords it here are pics I have taken since the start. I have made my mistakes burning leaves by getting them wet or they grew faster then expected and got light burned!! No major problems though! I have had trouble with vertical grow on two not sure if its the strain but popped in some 125 watt 2700k to help with that. Here are some up to date pics as im 4 weeks into veg! Today i topped several of my tops and also removed some of the fan leaves that were blocking new tops on their way up. Tallest girl measures 14 inches and smallest at 8 inches. I have very tiny nut burn on the ends of a few leaves but only on the one freebie seed that is the tallest! I hope i didnt stress them to much. Any input or thoughts would be great!! How many times do you top? And any thoughts on flowering ? They are almost 5 weeks. What about starting flower next week? Looks good. I just started a grow journal as wel growing some Swiss cheese under 125w CFL for my first time. Anyway as for flowering I am not 100% sure as the axact right time to flower but I would just go with when you feel its time. Since your using CFL as wel I wouldnt let them get too tall. I would keep them at short lil bushes.
Looks good, have you grown outdoors before? I'm about to do my first indoor grow, I've grown outdoor mmj in Cali for 5 years successfully and have taken a few environmental horti classes. I'm going to use cfls aswell, I read in a mmj book from oaksterdam university that 30-60 days for veg is good. Just with cfls you need to remember the watts and lumin you need for your plants. As for topping, got me there as to I have only topped once toward the end ever to help the mid and lower get more light and finish but I prune my plant to make it even more bushy as it grows. Not sure if this helped but yours inspires me! Keep on keepin on

So plants went into 36 hours dark and switched over to flower!! Its week 6 in veg but happy with growth tallest 19" and shortest at 16" !! As you can see i nute burned them a bit causing new growth to be yellow and tips white. So i am hoping, switching them over it will help with nute burn and next waterings are just honey and phd water!!! Hoping to find out the sex of the freebie send here soon as it has been the fastest grower. I continue to trim fan leaves blocking new tops from coming up. I noticed the walls, white paint? Maybe try Mylar or white hydroponic plastic. I use tin foil lol but it seems to be working good. Oh hahaha I saw a post once of someone and they used the reflective part on the car window visor that keeps the sun out of your car/dash cracking. I wouldn't recommend the visor thing tho your women look amazing!!!!!! I can hope only mine will look like yours
I would get some good lights on the side too, to help those parts get more light but I gotta ask! How did you build your y adapter lights? I keep asking everyone about their lighting setup as I want to build one now haha ----- seek bliss .
yur plants are lookin great should deff look into led lighting cfls work great all my grows have been with cfl but the reading ive been doin a good 180w led with ur cfl and u would be sett subbed
Those plants are looking great, I posted a cfl hood that would work perfectly for those 3 plants in @YouBeLION her journal

So we are going into day three of 12/12 I am going to be adding extra wattage here soon to help some of the smaller tops out!! I topped the freebie three separate times about two weeks apart. I topped at the fourth node and gave it two weeks and topped again. I wasnt to sure on how many times was okay, so i played around with the freebie a lot more as my test subject and it has done the best. No little buds forming yet and from what i read males show quicker then females normally so we are hoping for the best. Yep balls will show overnight beware of the balls. And ya every male I have had was taller and ...whats the word lanky(er). Hell one was nearly 18 inches taller than the rest lol.
