Flourecent T5 Grow Light Wattage

  1. Well, getting my feet wet for the first time because I haven't been able to find the answer to this question yet. I don't have a big budget for my grow and I know that the lighting is the most important part, so I was looking into a flourecent T5 light fixture for the growing phase with the 6500k bulbs, then when it comes time for the flowering stage I can just change the bulbs to the 2700k. Now my question is does the light give off enough watts? It says the 6500k ho bulbs give off 90 watts and the flowering bulbs only give off like 24. If I'm not mistaken, I've read hundreds of time here that you need 100 watts per plant. Would I have to supplement it with cfl's hanging off the sides of the plants to make up the difference or is this all I would need for 1 or 2 plants at a time. thanks in advance for the proper info. Keep up the good work!
