I just got off horrible anti-depressants I've been on for 10 years. I heard than cannabis can be beneficial or cause more anxiety depending on the strain. Here's the strain I'm looking for. One that I can eat or vape and go to work right after. Not one that's going to get me couch locked and trip colors but one that's going to loosen me up, relax me, and promote confidence. Basically not very high in THC but enough to calm my nerves.

  2. I dont see cannabis working for that at all. Try an indica but it will make you kind of lazy.

    Tequila yes!

  3. Try a tincture. I know someone who swears by RSO for her anxiety. I have tried it and it made me real mellow. Almost like I didn't care about much of anything. But start out real small and try it on a day off first. I took about a 1/4 pea sized amount and it lasted at least 8 hours.

What strain would you recommend to make Rick Simpson oil for my problem?

  5. Try some alcohol.

Strains high in CBD and low in THC I heard to be the best mix. I want to be able to take it in the morning and drive, still be able to function you know. The problem is I have a horrible time talking to others. The medication helped but I would have to switch every two years due to building a tolerance up to it and not to mention the damn side effects, I tried 1000mg of the herb Chamomile but wasn't strong enough and anymore and I just got a massive migraine. A teacher I had back in high school actually told me his cousin got a medical license for her anxiety and it helped tremendously. Check it out.

  7. I would look into how to make a small batch of RSO. I have made this and it is real simple. Exactly what you want. High CBD and low THC.

  8. indica dominant CBD rich strain. That would be the best. Im not sure what your tolerance is though, so I don't know that it would last all day, or long enough.

Edibles are def a good way to go, but titration is so hard. A tincture you could make and keep with you, could work too.

  9. Marijuana will make my social anxiety worse...every time, even inducing it when I normal would not have anxiety. There are some things weed just isint meant to cure IMO

  10. What ^^^^ said. Its up to you. Either let go and be around people, or don't. I smoked for 10 years now, it was entirely up to me to embrace or shy away from people. The weed made no difference in that aspect.

  11. Listen to drummerben, high CBD strains are amazing for anti-anxiety and treating social anxiety. Cannatonic is my personal favorite strain.

  12. I find Blue Dream to work for me. I'm not sluggish and my head isn't moving a mile a minute. Different strokes for different folks.

  13. From a bit of personal experience and gathered information, a not-too-heavy sativa edible may do the trick for making you feel more comfortable in public. Getting straight stoned on any kind of MMJ probably wont help for social anxiety though lol!

  14. gotta be the cbd strains.  i've tried 2 so far, acdc and yummy.  both helped with anxiety.  yummy seems to more uplifting, and help more with depression too.

  15. Get some Northern Lights and make some RSO. Do not decarboxylate it prior to making it. Take it orally. Start with a grain of rice size every 10-12 hours. See how it affects you for the first few days. It may make you sleepy. If so go one grain of rice size. Do not start out big. It will take 1-2 hours for it to take affect and should last around 10 hours.

  16. I actually get a little paranoid when I smoke so I tend to avoid doing it if I have class or work. Sometimes I'll take a hit or two before class but I act a little weirder than usual. I recommend not smoking if you have social anxiety, but in some situations it has helped me and others whom I've known. I would aim for an indica; definitely not a sativa. Sativas tend to lead to paranoia but sometimes they're fine.

tl;dr go for indica, may or may not help.

Agreed. If you don't want to be high but need the medicinal benefits - get a high cbd strain.

  17. i deal with social anxiety also and have honestly found cannabis dose not help with it while cannabis dose help with other problems in like social anxiety is not one of them but if you were to find one that would help yes something with high cbds would probably be the most likly

  18. RSO made from multiple strains works really well for me. :D

  19. Just picked up some Candy Kush a couple days ago. It's definitely more of a head rush but it did settle my nerves. Upbeat and a steady body high.
It's another strain I'm happy with and will continue to use regularly.

  20. Get a vape pen, use some low THC Co2 oil, take a small puff as needed whenever, wherever you are. Bring it with you, control your dosing throughout the day instead of trying to do everything all at once hoping it lasts, or worrying if its strong enough/too strong to do what you need.
