Moved to Pandora's box, if any mod see this post, please can you delete it?

  2. You'll get better reception in Pandora's Box. This is the science section, and while its fun to think about n imagine, pseudoscience doesn't usually progress far here. Also, the physical human body has more than 5 senses as it is.. every single sense you have, from balance to pain operates on a physical level, and I have a feeling we will discover even more later on.

    Mobile mumbling..

  3. Is there any way to move this thread?
Also the are the above senses like balance and pain from the original 5?

  4. Anybody seen this before? Passed a lie detector and DNA proof with a couple hairs, but most things I read about these kind of experiences is that you can not usually move,

I think people think senses are cut and dry.. like your ears for hearing, eyes for seeing.. but like most things in life, they can have more than one purpose. Your ears play a part in your balance, but it's a separate sense from hearing. Your skin plays a part in pain, but it's a separate sense from touch. Same with itches and temperature, each separate senses processed independently of one another. It's like your mouth, you use it to eat and talk.. so you wouldn't look at it as all one action lumped together.

Here's an interesting article on your skin and how it actually processes information on the spot, it's not all about the brain processing information, but your nervous system as a whole.

  6. Yes I get what you mean, I read that article earlier today, I also found and read the linked artical, while this information is probably correct I was more angling towards external senses to the body, it's hard to give you an example, Iike a rain sensor or way to sense illness,
