Personal preference...if you have the time...slow dry....chop plant...hang whole plant for about 3 days...pull all fan leaves...good circulation. ..then cut individual branches...hang another 2-5 days...then fully trim put in mason jars...get a hygrometer caliber $20...take buds out if RH (relitive humidity)inside jar is higher than 65% ...55-60% is cured Sent from my SPH-L900 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I always trim my buds before hang drying it. That way i can inspect the buds for worms or insect eggs or mold.
Many believe that trimmer after drying improves flavor. I trim wet so I can make fresh frozen with my trim.
I like to hang large branches, yank all the fan leaves off and wait about 5-6 days then place the buds in large paper bags(jars if you only have a little bud) for a few days. Then I do the trim. My personal bud I'll let cure in jars for awhile, the other stuff I'm getting rid of cures in large size zip lock bags.
