Is The Temperature When Curing Important?

  1. Hi I was wondering if the temperature when curing is important, from what I have read only the relative humidity is mentioned.

  2. yes, the cooler the better.

the warmer it is, the faster your terpenes are going to evaporate, which will make your nugs way less flavorful.

  3. In the jar, warmer tends to be wetter, colder tends to be drier. This is because evaporation is slowed or stopped when seal in a jar.  This allows the humidity to build inside the jar. Too much humidity the weed spoils, too little, it dries, too fast and the medicine and flavor is degraded.

  4. If you cant get lower temps when curing is it okay to cure in the refrigerator?

  5.
Thats a bit overboard, cases of Jars under a bed in closet even when its hot is fine.

The trunk of a car or some other oven like environment is not so great.
