This seed germinated with no problems. Did the paper towel method, placed it into container if 2/3 ffof and 1/3 perlite. Lightly sprayed with distilled water. Sprouted about 48 hours later. But I will say, my gf, in a drunken rage, went into my veg room and knocked over 4 of my 8 pots. Couldn't find 3 of the 4 seedlings. Found this one and put it back in the soil. It seemed to be ok. Even a day after I put it back in it looked like it was growing, getting greener, etc...but today it's completely fallen over and it's flimsy as can be and yesterday it was sticking straight up. What could have caused this? Too much stress from being dumped out of it's birthplace? Maybe I gave it a little too much water due to me thinking it dried out being out of the soil? Not sure...can anyone help me out? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'm only a beginner grower, so please adhere to others advice over mine, but in my opinion it was a combination of things. Mainly, the stress of being knocked over, and then from my understanding seedlings should not be put into a nutrient rich soil, because they can easily get nute burn and welll...die. For future grows, consider some growing MIX and not soil, and yes perhaps you over-watered it as well.
