How To Disassemble Da Buddha Vaporizer For Cleaning?

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by forever_a10ne, Sep 1, 2014.

  1. I just got a DBV two days ago and, during my first session, some herb got into the elbow-shaped heating glass in the center of the unit. I can see screws at the base of it, but it's at a very weird angle. How do I take this bit off to clean it out so that I don't damage the unit or light anything on fire if I try to use it again?

  2. I'm pretty sure u can just lift the glass cover off the heating element an just turn it upside down? Blow in it to get it out no need to dismantle ur vape lol I seen it done before in case u get a custom heating cover

  3. I feel like there has to be a better way. I tried shaking it out, but a lot of the burnt stuff is stuck together.

  4. Compressed Air for computer should blow clean.
Poke (while unconnected) with pick at stuck materials.

  5. what do u mean? It seems like the simplest method, it's meant to be taken off anyway for cleaning, dismantling it seems like a lot more effort plus unnecessary, it fits snug on but it's meant to pop off, try compressed air to blow it out, I suggest taking globe off an turning upside down

When I tried cleaning it, there was burnt stuff on the bottom of the elbow-shaped glass that wouldn't shake out. Compressed air sounds like a good idea, but all I really need to know is how to take the glass element around the heating rod off. All the stuff is in there. The wand is fine, it's in the center.

  8. Thanks. I'm going to see if the second video works for my DBV (pulling straight up). It's currently not at my residence, so I'll get back and edit this post later to let you guys know how it went if I still can't fix this :p

  9. This is 1 reason I want a ssv over a dbv even though their essentially the same I dot want to risk spillin ganj, I say just take off heater cover like with ssv should be same for dbv
