I found a guide on how to clean bad hash, so I tried it. It smokes really nice, gets me 5x as high as it did before cleaning (because its more concentrated) smells like top quality hash and tastes like it. Like you can see in the pic with the joint, it just crumbles to powder without being heated. Its definitely a lot cleaner and nicer to smoke.

The method I used was dropping it in a cup of boiling water from the kettle, crushing it with a fork into pieces as small as I could and then straining the water off through a cloth. Then pressed as much water out of the wet hash as I could, pressed it into the small tin and left it to dry. Took about 15 mins to clean and then maybe 1 hour to dry it properly infront of a heater.

I was just wondering, has anyone else tried this and what are your thoughts?

  2. I don't see how this could change anything, maybe you decarbed it but it depends on the exact temperatures... where did you hear about this?

  3. I came across it on another forum (don't know if I'm allowed to post the link). Water temp was just boiled in the kettle(212 degrees F, I think) It is definitely cleaner and more enjoyable. I'm not saying it's the best but it's a massive improvement from what it was. The water after straning was a dirty brown colour, like tea.

  4. well, thc isn't really that soluble in water, so you probably didn't lose much... hmmm... im starting to see something here, but i need to see more... im looking into this now.

    you made me curious.
    Thank you.

  5. No problem, it's definetly a useful piece of info to have. If you should ever need it.
I just did it with soap bar, I don't know if I'd want to try it with  better stuff.
