I had post concussion syndrome starting November 3rd of 2012 from a few football hits and it lasted for a little over a year and this summer it mostly went away. I am at college for football and about 10 days I got a regular football hit to the head, nothing huge but for some reason I got a really bad headache mid practice about 45 mins later. Also I got hit in the head 2 days after that with a football on accident. The doctor is unsure if I have another concussion or if my post concussion was re-triggered. I am debating smoking, bc I feel like it might help, but it might not. I know a lot of ppl use it to help and even the nfl is debating allowing players use it. My main symptom is a headache, along with occasional dizziness and a little weird vision (regular PCS) and sometime I forget stuff but I think it could be because I am stressed and worried. My test scores were pretty close to baseline also. Any thoughts? I also smoked last night and seem fine today. It helped me sleep however lately I can hear my heart beat when I sleep and when I was high it increase that

  2. i have used it many times for pre-concussion motivation. it worked better then i expected. bad joke sorry....

you know, if the bud is going to make you feel better then use it. if there is possible proof that it could be helpful to a guy with your problem then definitely try it. you'll know if its for you or not after you try it the first few times. there is a lot of disinformation about what the truth really is. it makes it very hard to make a judgement call based off of it alone. as far as i can tell it wont hurt you in any way but might help.

    go for it!! :metal:

  3. After receiving a concussion during a concert, this became my first experience with the medicinal benefits of cannabis!

Smoke it!!! Sativas will help with the headache, and CBD is good if you can get it, but, yes, it WILL help. Tremendously.

It helped me so much... while I was still recovering from the concussion, I was trying to play chess, and I could NOT concentrate. As long as I took a toke before each move -well, ended up winning! :D  I even told my doctor about it. (this was like fifteen years ago mind you) and his response was, "I cant condone it, but Im glad it works"

More doctors can condone it, and there is even a really strong push to allow the NFL to excuse mmj, specifically because of the frequent concussions and how much cannabis can help!
