Well hello everyone, I'm making this thread only to say that I drank a lot of coffee and I feel "high" I don't know if I can call it "high" but is definitely a different feel from my normal state. I'm out of weed right now and I had to do a few college works for tomorrow but I wasn't able to find the motivation(still struggling to find it) so I was just laying in my bed thinking about doing that work, I sit in my computer and start doing the work but don't feel motivated until I get the idea of drink a big and exaggerated amount of coffee, I never drink coffee because I really don't see the point of drinking it(and when I do is usually a small cup) or at least I didn't till today. I don't know if this is just a placebo effect or an actual coffee effect but after drinking a crazy amount of coffee I started to feel a huge buzz/rush like-felling, my head was mostly like even hurting the thing is I start doing the work and I'm actually finishing the work after drinking all that coffee, feeling really awake and electric, is the 1st time I actually feel something from drinking coffee and is also the 1st time I drink so much coffee.

    I have 3 questions,
why the hell is something like coffee legal when a plant like marihuana isn't? make no sense.

Is this a normal part of drinking a lot of coffee or do you think it was just a placebo effect?

Can coffee put actual motivation in a person life or is just energy?

  2. well coffee does have this ingredient (drug) caffeine which has an affect on people, especially when you consume a lot of it.  So yeah you were "high" on caffeine. cool story.

    1) why the hell is something like alcohol/nicotine/salvia/spice legal when a plant like mary jane isn't? make no sense

    2)yes

3)it puts caffeine in a person which is energy

  3. @[member="Smokey Tha Bear"] Cool, and I don't mean coffee being just legal but also so socially acceptable, is funny how we live in a society where production is main factor and a drug like coffee being the most consumed drug in that country make a perfect conspiracy theory.

    Thanks for answering good sir!

ive often wondered what would happen if one day the dea/fda put coffee/caffeine alongside cannabis....haha i can imagine how insane people would get.

  5. yeah i looked up caffeine on wiki because of your post and it said in North America 90% of adults consume it daily, it's literally everywhere

  6. It's also possible to overdose on caffeine and it seems to be happening more and more with energy drinks and yet marijuana is still "bad". Even though you cannot die from over medicating.

  7. Population control keeps the deadly things legal and the harmless medicine illegal. Money talks.

    caffeine is not energy.

    Its more like a catalyst

Caffine mmakes you burn.more energy but you still.gotta eat.

    Every get cranked.up an.caffine and.skip breakfast and.lunch? Not a.good.idea

This logic is a bit backwards.

Allowing people to fail it why we don't need population control, whcih is barbaric

    Money is superior to allowance

  10. Some would say the earth will become overpopulated in years to come. Best way to get rid of them is to kill them off. Also why we are sending people to mars on a one way trip. We have to expand or slim down.

  11. the best way is to kill them? Really? You are a terrible person...

A few thinfs tto note. There is no such thing as overpoulation. Period.

Species often expand and stretch their resources to the brink when they become succesful. When this happens you have starvation and disease.

Humans are just a part of nature. Letting.natural selection take its course is morsly superior than killing people.

  12. Interesting discussion  I'm high on coffee right now.  I drink 1 or 2 cups every morning.  I find an increased alertness, but I can also crash sometimes later if I get too much and/or don't eat and drink fluids.

But overall I find the effect on my consciousness is not as great as that of cannabis or alcohol.  But I have a natural disinclination to drink more than a couple of cups at a time.   Also I'm a regular user so I suppose I'm acclimated to it.

I had a similar experience of nicotine back when I smoked cigarettes.  Once acclimated, the effect of smoking a cigarette was fairly mild. For me Cannabis has always had a stronger effect than either of those drugs.
