Hey guys, I work at a small health club/gym on the East Coast and I'm an avid weightlifting and also an avid stoner. I'm a daily smoker and love pairing it with work and exercise. How do you feel about the two mixing. I think that bud helps me lift much heavier weights during my sets with the same amount of effort. If I toke up before a gym session I get such a harder workout in. Anyone experience this or is it just me? Do you think it's ironic for someone who likes to work out condone smoking?
I don't find it helps me lift any heavier weight then normal, but it does motivate me to go to the gym by making a workout seem like less of a chore, I find it fun when high. Also, that feeling when you get home right after a workout and blaze a bowl, you get the workout endorphins combined with the weed and your feelin no pain

I think it's fun as hell but there are some downsides to it IMO. I've noticed in between sets I move more sluggishly and I also have a hard time gauging how my body is reacting to a exercise as to when I'm sober because I'm well, high and feel things a bit differently. All in all it's makes it a lot funner of a work out, but I feel I don't get as much out of the workout in the long run.
Yeah when you toke your muscles become relaxed instead of stressed, so when lifting its more comfortable for those muscles to contract. Personally I enjoy blazing after a workout, but tons of people do it and I hate when people say "you cant smoke pot and weightlift". Stay faded
