I will be keepin this fairly up to date. I'm using 2 125w Apollo 2700k lights. I had spider mites I used mighty wash it seemed to do the trick wonderfully
Those are some pretty purple roots! Im happy you got those spider mites under control. I just lost a pre sexing lady to fungus gnats from my last grow due to poor soil and watering from the top ( knew nothing about growing at the time). Also welcome to the forums, check out my new grow! Its early on but I will definitely follow yours, makes some friends here what have you been feedng her? how long did you veg? flowering yet? Im excited to hopefully hear first hand how the flower/ harvest process goes! My youngings look forward to it.
She was in veg for 4 months its been kinda my experiment plant. I topped her when she was 2 half 3 feet tall I knew nothing about topping and wasn't to sure about cutting the top but glad I did now great advantages. I didn't feed in veg.i Have some big bud I'm going to start using and something my friend makes and uses on there grows. I've got some clones from her. I've Been LST and topping her loving every minute of it. She's been in bloom since Aug 18
I am highly intrested in LSTing my clone! I would LST my female Grapefruit Kush too but its autoflower by nature and I don't want to turn it into a dude or a he-she. Idk I just heard stressing an autoflow can fuck it up. Do you got some pics or a guide your using for LST? My clone just began new growth and I will soon need to. I topped the clones mom as an experiment also before I put her out of her misery. I did more of a FIM top and it grew two knew nodes. Im trying to keep my plants low and maximize yield with proper LST training .
Google is amazing. Ill find the info for you .This is my understanding of LST when you tie the top down it confuses the plant and causes it To believe the top is gone so it releases a hormone called auxins which I think promotes new growth cause the plant believes its top is gone. That's the jist of it. I'll find the info for you tho.
Hey guys, Im also on my first grow and I suck at it.. I didn't know about the LST until my 3 1ft plants were in flower to sex. 2/3 were males so I have 1 female and she looks Nothing like yours. 1 stalk and very small branching from nodes.. How did you do your LST, Topping? so u just pluck out new growth and wait for 2 more?. LST encompasses a lot like fimming and scrog (screen of green). So other than how you did your LST. I just got a tap root from a bagseed and put in rockwool under t5 (through a Tupperware dome(upside down)) and its pushing 48hrs. so idk if I did this right or not, but 1 newb to another, how u do yours? and the LST and GJ btw

When I top I cut 3 to 4 nodes down so I can clone it and yes 2 more should grow as far as fimming for what I was told just induces more branching
Hey guys, I also have fungus gnats in my 1 and only flowering female. she keeps losing lower leaves and the top looks healthy. I have a bowl of water w a drop of Palmolive (antibacterial dish soap) and caught 1 lol. it is soil so I don't want to spray an antibacterial on there do I?. I have coco and hydro after this 1 and only female so I don't want to contaminate the area.
