It can vary depending of density of the strain. Go and buy yourself a $10 scale and never worry about being ripped off again.
 
A simple google search would have gotten you the same answer btw.

 

Get 7 grams which are called quarters for a good deal. Should only cost 80 to 100 bucks

I could probably tell you around how many dimebags worth are in 6 grams if you tell me was it a dimebag of dank weed or some regs from your previous purchase and if youre buying from the same person. It would be just an estimate tho

U probably got at most half a gram in that dime bag so 6gs is gonna be quite a bit too u.

 

a few days till you buy? thats plenty of time to Buy a fucking scale off amazon for cheap, it will be delivered to your house. You can't compare weight with weed from a picture. get a scale it is a good long time investment.

 

about the bottom of the bag. I buy quarters or 7 grams, and it roughly covers the bottom of a sandwich bag, but it really depends on the density.

 

Like many people have said it can vary, dense nugs can make a quarter the size of a small golf ball, fluffy nugs can have the same weightbut itll look like twice as much.

Pending what state you're in, go to like 7 different gas stations and guarantee they'll have little scales for 5-10$. Or local head shops of course.

After you get a scale test it by putting a nickel (not a nickel of bud, an actual 5 cent nickel) on it. If it weighs up 5 grams you're good to go, best of luck sir.

6 grams where i'm at in Canada is generally sixty dollars, pretty flat rate here in Ontario.
As for a picture to compare too, it really does depend on the bud. You can have really airy, spaced out loose bud and 6 grams might look like 12. You can also get really tight, compact buds (generally better weed) and it might only look like a few grams. If you are very curious and really want to make sure you don't get ripped off in the future I would recommend buying a scale. Depending if it is legal or not where you are at, it also might not be the best idea as an officer could then charge you for intent to sell.
 
Just be careful, try to find your best bang for your buck and weed you personally enjoy and have fun with it

 

Tell him to weigh it in front of you. The biggest mistake I made when buying bud when I was younger is not actually determining the weight of sacs. 

 

Here is a pic of a quarter (7 grams) I picked up a few days ago. I've gotten quarters that looked like half that size though, hell I've picked up 21 grams and it looked less than that. All depends on density really if you squeeze the bud and it feels dense it should cover like an inch from the bottom of a sandwich bag maybe more if it feels fluffy.

you need to get a scale don't try to compare pics it wont work weed varys way to  much for that

 

Should be about 2 finger widths on the bottom of a normal size sandwich baggie but itsmarch20th is right some quarters will look like a normal half o because the buds so fluffy, I had an ounce of mexi brick weed the size of a half o cuz it was so compressed.

 

I would say 6 grams looks like about 6 grams on the scale. Yeah that sounds right.
