My girlfriend of one year has been talking about picking up a second job she needs the money. She has a friend that works at a strip club as a dancer that can hook her up with a job as a server, key word 'server' not stripper. I trust her and I know she wouldn't do anything that she shouldn't or become a stripper (she swears she would never be a stripper) and shes not that kind of girl, but I just hate the idea of her working at a strip club and being in that kind of environment. Being around drugs, guys gawking her, trying to flirt and hit on her etc I see this all the time when I have been to gentleman's clubs. I have witnessed my own friends giving girls coke and pills for dances. To make matters worse the club that she wants to work for is extremely ghetto low class its known to inhabit drug dealers, thugs, and low lifes. I knew a guy that was a bouncer there that was shot at in the parking lot. Ive tried to talk to her about it and asked her why she cant just work at starbucks or something but she feels like she will make good money there. I probably sound like a jealous douche but I lover and I would constantly be worrying about her. What do you guys think? :/
It could work out good for her in the money side of things, but the situations that she may find herself in may not be for the best of her or your interests. Why not give it a shot, see how she likes it then if she enjoys it enough then stay but if not get your ass out of there!!!!
Sounds like needing the money is going to turn to stripping since she will already be working there. If you are hot enough to be a server in a strip club then you are hot enough to strip.
^^^^^ I totally agree. If I were in your position I would feel exactly the same way. Even though you trust her fully, having her working in a place like that will make you constantly worry about her. I would suggest telling her how you will be worried about her if she works there.

I completely agree with you guys this is why I am concerned. Truth is everyone is voulnerable to bad influences no matter the circumstances. There was a time where I was doing \tsome criminal shit like drug deals and robberies because of who my friends were at the time. I am pretty sure it won't lead to dancing and if it did there would be nothing to talk about because I would be gone I told her this. I wont be the guy whose girlfriend is a stripper. If you trust her not to move on up (or down?) to being a stripper, I say let her. HOWEVER, being a man you should know not all men will see her as just a waitress, and you should take steps to prepare for when some asshole grabs her ass. I mean a gun, bat, shovel, and a few solid alibis never hurts.
Lol for real, starbucks would be a way better alternative. Dealing with bitchy white girls all day instead of dangerous sleazebags, plus the baristas make a better hourly wage than fast food places and get tips. Plus that way she can tell people she works at a cafe instead of a fucking strip club.
