This is mostly for people who live on their own but I guess it can apply to those who live with mom and pops. Is your house/apartment a mess? Clothes everywhere? Dishes never done? Trash everywhere? Or is there like, 3 pairs of clothes laying around maybe an empty bag of chips on the coffee table and a plate or 2? Or is it totally spotless? My house is a mess i'm lazy. And idgaf. Looking at my coffee table right now: 8 pack of gatorade ashtray lighter empty gatorade bottle and lid empty beer bottle empty cup from burger king pot i ate ramen from rarlier various papers 3 textbooks canopener crumbs End table text to me has: 1 empty beer glass 1 full beer glass tabasco sauce half full water bottle tums 1 textbook/paper/clipboard crumbs

I do about an hour of cleaning a day. That includes vacuuming and mopping one part of the house, doing the dishes, cleaning the bath tub/sink/counter/toilet seats in one or both bathrooms (depending on if we've had guests), and making sure all surfaces are neat (no garbage, dirty dishes or objects that belong somewhere else) and wiped down. This keeps my house in pretty good condition, so sometimes I skip a day if I'm feeling lazy, but never two consecutively.
My bedroom and our basement are messy. But I do make an effort to keep the common areas (living room, kitchen) clean.
My house gets messy, I clean it up. it gets messy again and I clean it up again. But to be obsessed with always having it clean is a sign of a sick mind. A sick mind is a terrible thing to waste.
somewhere in between. there's usually a few things lying around that aren't neatly arranged but it's nothing ridiculous. I usually just let the dishes build up until the sink is full. I know some people will have like, a kitchen full of dishes before they wash them. usually it becomes messy at night from like, beer cans and food trash and shit and I just pick it up in the morning.

When I was a teenager my bedroom was always a mess. Then I got older and learned that women would be more likely to sleep with me if my place was clean. I'm married now, but old habits die hard. I live with three other people. We all clean up after ourselves.
My rooms a bit messy right now. I have a kid. I work. I goto school. Im not home too often, and when i am i just wanna chillax. not clean. but i dont really keep it a mess though. Its mostly clothes and school books and my guitars. I dont have a bookcase, or really anthing to put my stuff into. so it chills there for right now. also, sometimes i get too tipsy and end up pissing in empty beer bottles cause the toilet is too loud/far away. :/ i totally have piss bottles on my dresser hahahahaha
My room is secretly gross, it looks clean but once you start moving things around the dust and bugs and crumbs will probably appear
Somewhere in between I'll let it get kinda cluttered then I'll take a day to clean it all up and organize then I'll let it clutter up again. Except with dishes. I hate dirty fucking dishes. It's all just one big conspiracy
I'd be classified as messy. I'm backwards of most people.. My room and bathroom are spotless.. But the living room and kitchen.. Oh lawd... Every Sunday I clear the probably 20-30 beer bottles and coke cans from the coffee table.. Couple pizza boxes off the kitchen table.. Never vacuum.. I would if I didn't want to beat my vacuum with a hammer everytime I used it.
