Alright, so today "my friend" was driving from his friend's house after smoking out of his mini bong and decided he was going to go chill with my brother before he went off to school in a few days. He only lives a few minutes away but right at the end of his road is a four way intersection. He looked to his left side then barely looked to his right and drove off then the next thing he knew he got T-Boned by an SUV. He thinks I need to share this experience because he have never been so confused with my emotions. He was scared, surprised, amazed and he feels like not all my emotions have hit me yet. In case you've never been in a serious crash this is what it's like.

    - First he heard this loud ass fucking noise, his hearing was completely gone. All he could hear was an incredibly loud ring in his ears.

-The whiplash forced his torso into the center console breaking a rib. All he could feel was an incredible pain but within a few seconds it was gone. The adrenaline pumping through him helped his body cope with the pain.

    - He then got incredibly tired after the pain, all that was going through his mind was, " Am I going to die?". He became confused and dizzy, thinking his body was giving out. Time slowed down at this point and he had all the time in the world to think about whatever he wanted to. All he could think about was how afraid of death he was.

    - His hearing began to come back in a muffled mess. You ever see a movie when an explosion happens and the guy is all dazed and everything is muffled and almost silent? Yeah, it's exactly like that. Eventually he became more aware and awake and he knew he might live another day.

    - He looked to hid right and saw that the other driver's car had had it's hood shoved up towards the windshield so he would have to get out to get to them.

    - I forced the door open and feel to my hands and knees, feeling my ribs pulsate with excruciating pain. It hurt so bad but I needed to go to the driver and see if they are ok and to see if I could help. I forced myself up and hobbled to the driver.

He found that the driver was an old lady about in her late 60's. She was so dazed and confused that she said she simply wanted his info and to go home. He had to tell her multiple times she could not leave and that she needed to stay in her car to avoid further injury.

He keeps looking back and thinking about that very moment the car hit and every time he simply can't believe it. I'm not going to say this is some big lesson and try to preach to all you guys but it's a scary world out there guys, anything can happen. Once again, I'm not going to tell you guys what to do, but just be smart out there and don't take life for granted.

If you guys have any crazy experience like this feel free to post.

next time, do not glance to the right. Look completely to the right. Glad you both ended up ok. I hope your rib heals fine.

  3. Remember the old expression "Look both ways before you cross the street" ?

    Yeah, it is true.

Always absorb your surroundings when you check for traffic.

  4.
Glad you escaped with only a broken rib. You may want to edit or delete this post though since you just confessed to committing a DUI that ended up causing a pretty serious accident.

  5. Dude wtf I can't deal with your pronoun choice while high you don't need to describe "your friends" shit just use I

  6. Gotta look both ways man. Good to know no one was seriously injured

JESUS GOT SHOT IN THE FACE

  7. OP glad to hear you are okay. Always have to be extra careful when driving. It can be a very traumatic experience. Sometimes you won't really feel your "pains" until a couple days to a weeks later. Hope you are okay.

@KushmonsterrHave you been eating my cookies? ;)

  8. i found a couple of scooby snacks laying around.......

  9.  How is it he hit the center console from being t-boned?  Seems to me he would have hit the driver side door.

  10.
if he was hit from the right, as it said, the force is going to push the vehicle he's in to the left, while his body is gonna get pulled to the right. i was in an almost head on accident, collided on passenger sides, my passenger fucked up her left shoulder because of the way the energy of the collision moved the car, and the fact that the seatbelt wasn't designed to protect from that sort of impact (her left shoulder was tweaked as her body was pulled hard to the right). the crash i mentioned spun the tail of the car out to the left, causing a clock-wise spin around and around, during which time the contents of my car's passenger compartment all went sailing to the right.

  11. Sounds like your friend is fucked if she takes him to court and is drug tested.

It's all just one big conspiracy

  12.
Not necessarily, depending on how hard the impact was, he could have hit the drivers side door really hard, then came back and hit the centre console really hard. DAMN that's horrific.

  13. Back in January, my dad and I were driving to go hunting in southern alabama. I live in north florida so it still gets pretty chilly, we had just had an ice/snow storm so literally everything was frozen. I was driving down a 2 lane highway in my dad's truck. We could see sections of the road that have layers of Ice on them. He is rather goofy and makes bad decisions so he tells me to give it some gas and try to drift. Me being the dumbass I am I do it and start drifting on the ice with no control at all. I do it a few more times and when I correct the front wheels to keep the truck on the road it just keeps going onto the side of the road. The front tires dig into the soil on the side of the road and the truck flips twice and ends on it's side. I saw everything in slow motion and almost seemed like it was out of a video game. Hella scary

  14. One time I was driving in a bad snow storm.  I shouldn't have been driving but I picked up some weed 10 minutes away before it was really bad.  On my way back it was getting ugly.  It's ok because I was driving slow.  I should have stuck to the main road but there was a lot of traffic and I didn't want to end up getting into a bumper to bumper wreck from someone sliding on snow or something.. but that road was pretty clear most likely and should've just taken it.

Anyway, I was handling the snow just fine.  Driving very slow and careful.  Not far from home.  I drive a Jeep so it's not like I was driving a Civic or something.

Then I see this car coming from the other direction, a Cadillac Eldorado.  He comes to a slight turn in the road and completely fish-tails.  I see this happening and begin braking immediately.  The problem is I'm stuck on so much snow and I just keep on sliding, unable to come to a complete stop.

The Eldorado is now sideways and sliding on snow right towards me.  I don't know what this guy was doing or if he was drunk but the car didn't look like it even attempted to turn straight.  He just slid at me slideways for like 15-20 yards before slamming into the front of my car.  My car was unable to stop in time so I was moving forward too.  I saw a big flash and a loud boom, I thought I might've been dead.

The airbag hit me so hard in the face. It was awful because I was in a lot of pain and had to rest in bed for like a month.  Also my Jeep was totaled and Insurance didn't give me enough money to really replace the true value of the Jeep that was well taken care of.

After the crash I was really shaken up and would have some flashbacks remembering the loud impact when we crashed.  It didn't take too long to get over it though.  I had some good timing that day.....

  15. I'm glad no one was seriously injured.  I'm sorry you had that bad experience but something good can come out of it - you can become a safer driver.

  16. Two days ago my girl pulled out in front of a speeding semi that ran a light and she wasn't looking, I was in the passenger seat which is the side that would've been hit if I hadn't of said something. If I had been looking at my phone or something else I would be dead right now.

  17. WHAT the hell is this written as? SWIM?  C'mon on.

  18. Was a passenger in a car which tge idiot driving lost control.
I was pleading with him to be let out for ages before he rolled the fucking thing.

Its a cliché but my life flashed in front of me. Tbh it was rather surreal and calm.well up until it crashed into the side of some cunts house .

Felt severe pain in my leg, then kinda went into shock. The bloody tyres were smoking and I thought the fucking thing was going to go up in flames.

Remember crawling out the back window my mate was under the car and it was on top of his head.
Horrible thing to see. Thought the poor cunt was dead.

Luckily the guy had left the sprinklers on in his front lawn, and it helped my mate by pushing his head into the soft grass.

I broke my knee, mate still has a slight slur when he speaks it kinda messed his brain up a bit.

Driver got jailed. Guy got house repaired and new lawn lol
I still see that guy and his wife in town and they always ask how I am.
Which is pretty decent of them considering the circumstances haha
