Welp found my first bud worm and tossed out my first bud. That kinda sucks but at least it was a tiny bud fr down inside the plant. I'm sure I'll find some more soon. I'm getting really nervous about some of the plants finishing in time. I got 5 plants that I'm pretty sure are "elephant bud" that are very far behind. They still only have hairs. That's supposed to be a quick finishing strain so I'm not sure what's up with those.

yea I seen that bug, I'm sure they take little bites here and there but I'm not worried about them now, nothing can stop them from here on out. There's a variety of strains ranging from full indica to 90% sativa. The sativas are the ones pretty far behind.

Bud rot. Could be a few things that caused it. It was rainy for a week then chilly so the water couldn't evaporate and turned to mold. Or if there was a bud worm in it and shitting in the bud it could mold I've heard. Either are plausible.

i think I'll be legit. I see a little bit of evidence on another branch of a different plant but overall my concern right now is 2 out of ten.
Well I guess my concern now is about a 6 of ten. I got some stuff rotting out, found a couple worms. We have a storm coming tomorrow so I made the decision to chop the tops off several plants. Only ones that are super close to being done. The trichomes were just turning amber. A little earlier than I prefer but a necessary decision. Too dense to not rot. Got about a lb or so dry weight I'm estimating so far. Expecting about 9 or so more if the bud rot stays away. Crossing my fingers.

ehh I heard you could but I don't want to use something with mold on it for anything, even bho. I already threw the buds out in the forest. It's cool though I got some killer smoke and some still growing. I don't think my sativas are going to finish in time tho
