Bunson Burner For Co2????

  1. Has anyone ever tried using a common Bunson Burner to create CO2 for a small grow?? If so, how did you do it, and was it effective???

  2. I would skip that..

  3. If your grow is really small...and I'm talking small, like 1-3 plants in a closet or something. If it is that small then I wouldn't worry too much about co2 enrichment. Ummm, the only thing I guess I would do in your case is maybe get a compressed co2 bottle and with a needle valve throttle the gas into your space. Very very slowly.

You can use the burning of hydrocarbon fuels (methane, propane). But...I'm not sure if I can approve of a small, lit flame in a small, small space with things that can catch fire lol.

But anyhoo, if you don't want to use there are a few more things for co2 enrichment such as dry ice, fermentation or decomposition.

I wouldn't worry too much about adding co2 for your space and if I was going to I would recommend dry ice.

  4. I like to talk to my plants and purposefully exhale on them whenever I'm with them, to supplement CO2. I think they also like the conversation...

  5. For a small grow you are wasting your time. so many things to do will grow bigger better plants. Bigger lights, hydro or coco, aeroponics,.

CO2 is the last thing you do after you get dialed in with climate control and the whole shebang.
