  1. I seen a little bug a few days ago so i bought some pest spray from my local grow shop and he said to spray it on the leaves and everywhere. ive only sprayed it 2 times in 4 days and didn't go over the top and ive got a few burn marks on each one of my plants. how come this has happened? i know its off the spray because my lights are at the right distance and ive not given it any nutes yet as theyre only 12 days old

  2. Marijuana is very sensitive to bug sprays. On your tomatoes it would have probably been fine. Try neem oil next time, that doesn't harm the plant

  3. okay cheers mate

  4. I just used some neem oil. Make sure to dilute it. Also I found it best to use it a short time before the lights go out. Sometimes if the light shines one the little droplets of water to long it can magnify the light and burn the leaves. I should know in a couple days how well it worked.

  5. Gold do you know of any bad effects possible from the neem oil? I haven't seen any but I just want to make sure.

Take a look at this my good sir: http://www.discoverneem.com/neem-oil-insecticide.html

No negative effects from my understanding.

I mix in 10ml of neem oil for every 1 litre of warm water with a little dish soap to emulsify the two. This is sprayed on to completely soak all foliage. Concentrating on the underside of the leaves first. I have used this for many years and have never noticed any ill effects on the plants. However, breathing in the spray is very much not recommended. It can leave me breathless and wheezy for the rest of the day so use a mask, do it in a well ventilated area, or use a sprayer with a wand so you aren't up close. I do the latter and have no problems now

  9. Awesome thanks a lot. I soaked it pretty good. I took her outside and sprayed it all over. I got the undersides real good because I thought I could see the whitefly eggs on the underside of the leaves. Is 10ml in 2litres to much? That's what I did.

  10. That should be fine, definitely not too much. I missed the "0" earlier sorry. So your dosage is about half of what I do. But it doesn't have to be exact. I suspect it will be fine

I thought that seemed a bit low. The link above maxim posted is an interesting article about how neem oil kills insects. Explained why it takes a little while for them to die off.
