Amtrack Advice?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by ktoke, Aug 29, 2014.

  1. So Im planning to go down to SC to visit my uncle in November, and he said he wouldnt mind if i blazed it a bit, and maybe after a few drinks hed smoke some with me. Im planning on taking an Amtrack, bringing an eighth and my foot long bong. I know security is pretty lax on trains, but still. And should I check the bag, or keep it in my carry ons? Im confident I can hide the smell (baggy., mason jar, baggie, freezer bag, airtight jar) but will they like, check my stuff real thoro? Im a bit paranoid, cuz I dont wanna break the law (my moms girlfriend is a state trooper, so I cant get charged or shes in trouble). I do not under any circumstances plan to be high during the train ride.
I know this has been asked a lot, but usually theyre about like Canada to LA, where its practically decriminalized. Im going from Jersey to South Carolina

  2. They literally don't look at any of your bags lol you'll be fine. Went to chicago on an amtrak but didn't bring anything. Just cover the smell and you'll be straight..

  3. I went around 100 miles round trip in Southern California and the only person I ever interacted with was the ticket guy. There wasn't any kind of security checkpoint that you have to get around like you'd see in an airport. I think you'd have to look really sketchy for them to be suspicious, and even then, you'd have to do something to warrant a call to the cops.
