Day 2 and already having problems. It's under 3 CFLs , 25w each I think. Was fine this morning, but when I got home it was like this, and this is my first time growing so I don't know too much. The soil looked really dry so I watered it, hope that will help. Any ideas/suggestions/solutions? All help appreciated, thanks

Do you think if I don't water it for like 3 days it should be fine and go back to how it was?

  4. It looks like your using a soil that's retaining the water thus when you water the plant, the water stays in the soil and floods the plant (even if you have standard watering times).

My advice: Transplant your seedling into a grass-city accepted soil mixture and you'll be fine.

I could be wrong, I'm no expert

  5. perlite is your friend. get some aeration in that soil. do you have holes cut in the bottom of that cup?

Its not going to need barely any water while its so young, it has no roots to take it up.

  6. Yea, the soil I have right now is really shitty, going to get some more in a couple days. I have 2 holes in the bottom of the cup, is that enough (they're probably about the size of a hole puncher hole)? Not going to water it until I get new soil, hopefully then it should be standing happily again. Thanks for the help guys

  7. Simple tip. Use only the amount of water they can consume in the amount of time before you water again.
