Hey guys, this forum is a wealth of knowledge and I hope I can gain some! I recently bought my first vaporizer, Arizer Solo but I do not seem to be satisfied with it. I have followed instructions, watched videos and tried every way recommended, I think my tolerance is prety high and I most of the time used a waterfall bong before i bought the vape, my session have been for a full 12minute on different settings from 2 to 7 , I know I am doing something wrong because when I googled it everyone seems happy with the vape, please help me out
How fine are you grinding your weed? Are you using a screen in the stem? how much are you putting in for each pack? Also not everyone is happy with the solo.
In my experience it hasn't really mattered too much if the bud is grinded or not. I always start on temps 5 for 3 mins then 6 for 4 and 7 for 5 mins. I'd say either the weed isn't too good or there may be a defect which is hindering the heating components in the Solo to be performing poorly. Always works great with me though, had for about 8 - 9 months of heavy use nearly everyday and it's still great! Battery as well!

@[member="potatoe"] Head - Tried it both ways finely ground and small nugs, no I do not have a screen yet but that is not a VERY big factor is it? As long as i pull slow the stuff stays there, as for the bowl tried everything fully pakced, 1/2 packed, 1/3 packed @[member="Treepuffer313"] I am not sure if there is a defect, the herb comes out dark brown and smelling like pop corn so it is getting heat, I have tried it with two different strains so far Triple Diesel and SFV OG. Sadly its not working for me and I just know its me who is doing something wrong, on a scale of 1-10 a waterfall bong gets me to 8-9 while a vape will rarely touch 3-4. @[member="123burnthattree"] I do taste the hit, but yes I do not feel the effects everyone else does or describes after swithiching to vapes On a side note trying my first ever edible 'firecracker' today!

l will be honest with you. It is hard for me to get high with just the solo. I can only use it to re up my high later on after using better vaporizers, and thats one of the reasons I just dont use it anymore. Definitely get a screen though to put in there it does benefit the solo a lot to use it with a screen in the stem. The only way I get what I consider good hits is to use the screen, pack fully with very fine ground weed, and use temp 5 or 6.

I was also dissatisfied with the solo. Don't like the flavor (but that's my weed qualities fault) , doesn't seem super efficient ( my stuff can get brown after about 4 or 5 hits) like everyone says and my stems were very loose on my unit. It does work for me though and my wife loves its ease of use and results.
