Anybody else play the dark souls games? I bought the first one last year and put in 150 hours if gameplay without beating it, but I fell in love. Such a great game to play while medicated. I just bought Dark Souls 2 and I'm falling in love all over again. I believe it's the best RPG on the market by far and the best RPG since FF10. Thoughts?
Yeah, there are other threads but they've been buried. Dks 2 is still fun, but I dont think its as polished as Dks 1. The two DLC's have been fun, except not up to par, imo. Its too much "lets put cool stuff into the game", and not enough "attention to detail", so to speak. It is still better than a lot of other games on the market though.
Been playing the DLCs as of late. I have over 250 hours in DS2. I am on NG+++. The DLC is hard(boss fight is at least) I can beat her when I get summoned but not when I summon others. I haven't made it to the boss in the iron king yet.
Bought the game but I get my ass handed to me over and over again every time I play. Stopped playing cause it wasn't much fun.
Your not taking your time. Every enemy is basically a puzzle. Once you solve the puzzle it almost becomes easy to kill that enemy type. Try starting as a magic character. They have a lower learning curve as you can spam magic from a distance.
Yea I love the shit out of dark souls 1. Haven't been able to get my hands on ds2 (I only rent games nowadays unless they have multiplayer.) redbox never seems to have it... It's all just one big conspiracy
