I think it absolutely can but IMO I think it'd be pretty minute from those two temps. I have no background of experience though, so my opinion should be taken as a grain of salt. Lol
If I were to compare HPS and MH absolutely but since these cover all color spectrums and one has a slight temp change, I don't think it'd matter much. Someone buy it for me and I'll be your guinea pig!

Sup man tgif for me! Hope you can absorb some good info, cause I know I don't know shit compared to a lot lol

Mmm hell to the muthafuckin yeah!

Salt pepper and olive oil to begin the sear, then threw in butter, rosemary and terragon while searing it in the cast iron...

They're in the oven finishing off now :bongin: soooo thick like 1.75 inches if I had to guess

  4. Pork chops looks killer LR. I did some last night with the garlic soy broccoli recipe.

The best thing about the CMH technology was the price per bulb. It was something stupid cheap like $35 for a full spectrum bulb. Since having to fire my 250 again, my love has reemerged. The closest thing in a 1k is the mh daylight blue from hortilux. I noticed that whoretilux now has a cmh retro in a 250 for $70 retail. They also worked in old mag ballasts. So if your an old stoner like me you had a few sitting around. I keep boxes of ballast guts in the closet. IIRC, when I looked at those (when my LED shit the bed) they do take a special ballast.

"The CDM MW 210 & 315 Watt Lamps where specifically designed for 105hz-115hz LFSW Ballasts.... In English these are only meant for electronic ANSI RATED 105hz-115hz utilizing a low frequency square wave (LFSW)
and NOT for High Frequency Ballasts (these Literally Rattle the lamps apart)"

  5. Yum that garlic broccoli is awesome! I could eat it with rice constantly and be just fine :).

Yes those prices on my 400 were amazing! Sucks I can't buy anymore but hey, at least you opened my eyes to them while they were around! I think when the time comes in a few years I will be purchasing the 315w CMH model. Since I have the solar flare 200w in there I 515w total is still not bad in flower. I just can't ever get adjusted to the huge orange glow of HPS so I think mixed spectrum is where it's at! Plus, I love seeing daylight type light in that room it makes it so easy to see everything clearly.

Hope you guys have a good day!

Here's some HazC cuts and Ravin vegging out. Looks like they are taking to the 2 gal pretty nicely. I had hit them from VAM right before TP so bare roots straight into the 2 gal seemed to help a bit.

    1429735769078.jpg

Picked up some ribeye, boudan sausage and asparagus to indulge a bit again today!

  7. Turf Turf and Turf, I like it lol

  8. Shit man....between those chops and the pick up today, you got me hungry as heck over here. Do you deliver by chance? :D

Enjoy your time off man. You deserve it!

  9. Heck yes haha! Being land locked makes seafood nice and pricey here for quality stuff!

Haha thanks man definitely pics to follow I'm sure! I do deliver at the cost of some warm food....lol.

Hope you guys are enjoying your day!

  10. From the cooking time...I forgot to take an after pic cause I was too hungry and ate it all fast lol.

  11. Testing some mango haze this morning. She's at the 8 week mark but not ready IMO. I could tell that by the growth up top but figured I'd see anyways. Little nervousness still coming on after about 5 minutes, so I can tell she needs to ripen a bit. Unique flavor on her though! She smells very weird on the burn, and tastes unexplainable right now on the exhale. Not bad at all, but sort of peppery/flowery. It's just a weird mix lol.

I took a couple pics of the under canopy last night of HazC and Mango Haze.

  12. Damn that Mango is like a web of branches! Checkin out the mulch porn too bruh :)

You got me wanting to grill so bad right now. Haven't put anything out on mine in a long time. It's about that time though!

  13. I looked at that one a ways back. I am using HTGs HPS magnetic ballast for about 1.5-2 years and I bought it used, no issues what so ever. It's very quiet (my fans and shit are louder).

When I was in the market for Philips CMH I have heard that GE was having a lot of issues with the bulbs bursting. Not a ton but obviously you'd never want that to happen! So GEs bulb is rated for an enclosed fixture ONLY. You can read about it more here. Their site is a little disorganized but you will see the data here and there that is important to note.

    http://www.advancedtechlighting.com/93295_CMH400.htm

If you have a hood thats enclosed you'll be good. I've read multiple places that say Philips we're superior and first to be made, but GE bulbs I'm still do their magic!

  15. Just wanna keep teasing you guys at this rate :p.

    Day 58 of da Mango.

  16. Wow man great updates!!! Those girls are mighty fine, can't wait to acquire a cultivar with stacking like that! The Mango is looking so nice and frosty! Have you had this cultivar before? I've been wanting something that tastes just like mangos as that is my girls favorite fruit (so far).

Those HazC look just stunning! When it comes to the whole "strain name game" I am horrible!!! Is this the Hazardous Creations by OZ seeds?

  17. Thanks buddy! Believe it or not almost every strain I've run before has done this except the very indica dominant stuff I first began with.

I definitely don't mind it, I just hope I never see it go away when I run out of CMH bulbs lol.

Mango has been around almost a year now and this is my first time flowering her out. The first one from seed I didn't time it properly and it was small enough I chopped it 3 weeks into flower to make room and took cuts. Those cuts took 2 MONTHS to root. Then another month to start growing from reveg. It sucked so bad! I didn't keep her around due to this but I have seeds from Mr. Nice stacked away if I want to try again. She smells great! Like ripe mangos and some floral tones but I LOVE mango so it'll be my go to!

To answer your second question yes, HazC is Hazardous Creation from OZ. I had three regs from a blade and popped only one, man was I lucky!! She stinks absolutely horrible in veg (my wife is making me do a carbon exhaust on veg because of her, if that gives you an idea).

    Take care!

  18. Hello hello!

Little update before I pass out and forget. Mango haze is at day 61, I believe.
Smelling amazing as always very ripe mangos like you just split one open and have juices running everywhere. It smells GREAT! This will definitely be my go to for a fruity sativa.

HazC is at...ummm day 33-34 I think, I'd need to look at my calendar later to verify this. She is SO sweet smelling. Like a new opened bag of fruit loops. Just smell of sugar. It's insane how skunk smelling she is in veg and now the complete opposite in flower. She's certainly a keeper so far!!
