First Grow, Problem??

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by AnonymousBuds, Aug 28, 2014.

  1. Hi got a great outdoor organic crop going 8 total but my biggest one is showing one limb of yellow drooping leaves while the rest of the plant looks amazing. Any ideas. Had another much smaller plant did the same and the limb was over 50% dead so I removed it and the rest of the plant is still doing great. Also I'm northern lat and have been visibly budding for 3 weeks now.

  2. Sometimes it happens. Might be a borer of some sort (insect). Probably end up removing the limb like on the other plant.

Generally when I see lower branches yellowing that early into budding I mix up a little fish emulsion for a nitrogen boost, a lot of people start bloom nutes a bit early, possibly even a bit of a ph problem. Can you check&post your ph by any chance?

Edit: I wasnt even thinking about you being outside that dead limb looks like an insect

  4. Yes the pH was 5.9 a bit low. I just bought some bat guano and im going to use every 3 days mixed with water. I also have unsulfured mollasses.
There are lots of bugs but I'm not sure of what types. Being outdoor its hard to keep the off with out pesticide and as its organic I'm not spraying.
I think they are. Nitro DEF so hopefully this works.
    Any suggestions

  5. Deficiency's usually don't affect just one limb, the rest of the plant looks just fine.

A *borer* is usually a worm that bores into a limb, or even the main stalk and usually ends up killing everything from point of entry upward. Look towards the bottom of the affected limb and I'll bet you find a hole in the stem.

Not much you can do but cut off the affected limb.
