I did the heating pad thing before. My main complaint? I grew up with REAL heating pads. These new digital shutoff kind suck balls.
I dont mind ff nutes,they just seem to do best in soil in my experience. I had tons of problems using it (even with a decade of growing under my belt) and was recommended these nutes by experienced hydroponic growers as entry level nutes. The bag (maxibloom) can be used all the way through. Ive done about 10 plants from start to finish with it already. I used them (fox farm) for years in soil with phenominal results.

Think I'm going to set it to water twice a day. Those jiffy plugs hold water pretty well. Idk maybe only once a day. N3wGr0z
Going with once a day. Flood table is working well. Going to get exhaust set up and fan going tonight. Humidity shot up to about 75% over night. I was expecting a little spike because of the addition of more water. That's getting a little high IMO. Terrified of mold and insects at the moment . Found a rotten onion in the pantry !! We are now fighting fruit flies. Found three in my grow area. Fly paper is being purchased soon today. N3wGr0z

Your obsession will not be complete till you pull a power cable from your main electrical service to a sub circuit breaker box just for your grow room. I have mine.
when you go for it I can help you find real cheap prices on the stuff, $150 got me wired for up to 14,000 watts 240VAC or 7,000 watts 120VAC. I could use my grow room electrical to rewire my whole house easy. #4-3 cable out of a 60 amp breaker to a 6 breaker panel with 20 amp breakers to #12 -3 wire to outlets.
#6-3 would have been ample! But kudos for kick ass overkill!! I am waiting till this remodel is over. I only have two empty slots in my main breaker panel. Was going to run #6-3 out of a 60 amp to a 4 slot breaker panel. Only because I have that on hand. N3wGr0z
this poor little seedling is worrying me to death! The new middle leaves look healthy. But the first serrated that came out are a little droopy. Two of them look that way Edit : actually three of them are starting to yellow at the tips. The picture if just the worst out of the three N3wGr0z
