Cannabis Oil For Skin Cancer, Please Help.

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by musclegto, Aug 27, 2014.

  1. My dad was recently diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. He will be undergoing surgery to remove the mole, but we want to treat the rest of his body. I am looking for quality cannabis oil with a high cbd % and thc%. I live in Chicago but am willing to travel to any legal state to get it or buy it online. Any help would be much appreciated.

  2. You can order from marijuana2go.com.

  3. thank you very much for the link. The link shows an oil with 1.3% cbd, I believe I am looking for something much higher if I am not mistaken.

These are their lab results for their oil:

    Lab Test Results:
    Delta 9 THC 73.12%
    Delta 8 THC <.10%
    CBD 1.34%
    CBG 1.29%
    CBN<.10%

Are these adequate to treat skin cancer?

  5.
I believe these levels are adequate to treat skin cancer. Treating cancer with RSO requires a full plant extract high in THC. Less clear is whether high CBD itself is necessary for fighting cancer or whether its virtue is more in how it mitigates THC's psychoactive effects, allowing very high dosing. Also, after the mole is removed, your father should put some oil directly on the affected skin.

It seems like finding RSO with high CBD is a bit tricky. Has anyone tried mixing RSO high in THC with high CBD hemp oil like RSHO?

  6. We've been having good luck mixing the two oils on our dog who has lymphoma. The THC side is a full plant extract and we make the CBD side at home from buds we buy at a dispensary (R4). In addition to that, we're also giving her a capsule of raw pot (1:2 THC:CBD ratio) to capture the terpenes, THCA and CBDA.

Basically, we're throwing everything we can think of at her lymphoma. Tried doing it topically as well but that just ended up being a mess and got my other dogs stoned in the process from licking it off.

  7. Too bad Illinois hasn't gotten the shit together yet. Being that it's a legal medical state, you should be able to stay there! hmph!

If you want to treat the area with the removed mole topically, that syringe will be perfect.

For something orally, are you looking for CBDs so that it is less psychoactive?

Michigan would be your best best for a neighboring state. They accept other state's patients, and they have some great patient oriented places, from what I've heard.

  8.
The oil in Michigan does not compare in quality or price to California's oil. My guess is that there is some high quality oil in Michigan, but where???

  9.  Thanks again for the response. I am familiar with RSO and his videos. Although we might administer the oil topically, my father will be undergoing MOH's surgery to remove a small part of the infected skin. Our real purpose of getting the oil was to have him ingest it to make sure the cancer does not spread.

  10.
I agree, we shouldn't have to travel anywhere to get this MEDICINE. I have read differing opinions on CBD v THC content for ingesting and that's where I get a little confused.

  11. Using the oil on the site of the mole, topically, will also ensure that the cancer does not spread. Do both, if at all possible, at least for the first week, I'd suggest. Like, band aid, oil, keep it there, done. Should be good.

When it comes to using the oil for cancer fighting when ingesting, honestly, we just don't know enough about the differences for it to matter to you right now. We do know that THC will work, and we know that CBD works, and if you can get either or both, do it. If you can only get a high THC, as far as know, that will work.

When it comes to the effects felt by patients, high THC ...well, it'll make them more high. Higher CBD can mitigate those effects, but, depending on the ratios, their ability to do so varies. But, in the world of cancer, a little (or even a lot of) euphoria is better than any cancer ;)

  12. thank you all for your responses, much appreciated. I have seen a couple of guides for ingesting, does anyone have any by chance? just to compare.

honestly, when it comes to dosing, it's a very personal experience. It will vary so much, person to person, and is based on a number of components in the cannabis, and how we metabolize them.

The best advice is to start VERY. SLOWLY. (grain of rice) Sometimes it can take up to four hours for people to feel the effects of their first dose.

Start slowly, and listen to your body. Even if you don't "feel high" it doesn't matter because you're introducing things into your system.

If you feel overwhelmed from a very small amount, Ive seen people in here suggest taking it on a teaspoon with some oil (olive, walnut, hemp, almond, whatever). That and very small dosages until you're acclimated will be helpful.

If you're not getting stoned off these small dosages, start upping them slowly :)

and by "you" obv I mean the person taking the oil ;) had to edit!

  14. I have been researching this for the last month...how to find Rick Simpson's Oil.  I need if for skin cancer too.  After about 30 emails later, TONS of reading and tons more research, I have found out some good news and some bad.  Let me start with the bad because it doesn't really matter because the good our ways it.   Unfortunately people are taking advantage of sick people in the effort to make a dollar and claiming to sell "Rick Simpson Oil".  Rick Simpson himself is not affiliated with anybody selling oil.  These companies that claim to sell to all 50 states are the worst too.  They are making oils from waste or leaves, not bud (which is essential)

The good news is I found a place here in CA.  It's called the Cornerstone Collective: http://cornerstonecollective.com
It's here in Los Angels where I live.  I got this recommendation from Martin Lee at. www.projectcbd.org  At Cornerstone they make their oil on sight.  They are actively treating numerous people for numerous things.  I have my first appointment today.  Let me know if I can help you out. viavillalobos@gmail.com

    Good luck.
