Sweet Tooth sprouted yesterday! Day 11 12/12 only one plant is showing sex so far but cant tell what it is yet. lol maybe tomorrow I broke down and decided to get a 600 watt that im gonna use in the tent and use the 400 watt for my veg area really depends on how hot the tent gets etc.. I might use the 250 watt cfl in the veg area with smaller cfls and use both 600 & 400 in the tent. I have a small AC connected to the tent I keep it on low and that with the fans keep the tent at 81 so hopefully with both lights and setting the AC to mid or high I can keep the temp down. I should get the 600 this week sometime. One problem im having is in this 1910 house of mine the electric is wired crazy and the outlets in the upstairs room I use to grow is on the same breaker my kitchen is so when the lights are on and the AC and I try using my microwave POP goes the breaker. I think my only option is to run a dedicated line from the power box to the grow room uggggg..

Had a male I removed him. Two are females the other 2 im still waiting but they look more like a female should know for sure in the next few days. Also my auto sweet tooth is growing fast.

I actually take that back. I'm glad I didn't chop it down. I noticed a small white pistil coming out the very top this morning. Female and pale preflowers looking pretty much the same early on. Pretty hard to tell if you haven't seen it in person a good bit. I'm still not convinced it's 100% female could be a herm going to give it just a few more days . If this is a female it's going to yield a lot. It's suffocating my other plants and it's super hard to tie back because the stems are so thick and it has like 8-10 tops on it and it's almost 2ft tall x 2ft wide lol. I highly recommend chocolope for yield and the fact it's fun to watch grow because it gets so big. I'll b taking some photos soon. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
So I now have my grow on its own circuit breaker that wasnt fun lol.. Still waiting on 2 plants to show me what sex they are should be any day now. Auto Sweet tooth is on day 5 growing some leafs now. Still waiting for my 600 watter maybe tomorrow. I will get some pics on here tomorrow. Im trying to figure out when a good time to start my next batch. Im thinking I want to veg them around 5 weeks this time so I think I should start them at week 4 or 5 flowering of this batch then once the ones in the tent are ready to harvest I can move the 2nd batch into the tent. Does that sound about right?
I'm not sure how long you should veg depends on your strain. 4 would be max I vegged because of my space. I wish I woulda only vegged 3 weeks on my chocolope because it's getting way to big lol. My buddy from CO just sent me a huge bag ful of retro seeds from the 80s with some good King Kong bud. He said it's all the old school bud like panama red, Thai, harlequin , etc . Sent like 100 seeds lol. Curious to see how these strains grow and what they produce lol. That'll be my next grow . Here's a few pics from this morning: They are so much bigger in person lol. Rem this is only 5 plants and they are all bent completely over twice. I'm also having branches race each other to the light. I have branches that have outgrown the main stem lol. 2 ft tall plants bent over with 1ft tall branches. With 6-9 branches on each one. Colas are going to be everywhere. Yield should be great! Got the 600 watt light today!! I have both the 600 and 400 in the tent seeing if I can keep the temp down. The other pic is my auto in the veg area im just using 4 blue cfls and a 250 watt red cfl. Had a question should I put the 400 in the veg area with the MH bulb or leave everything the way it is?
You lucky lucky you!!! That panama red and thai are some DANK strains if the old school 70s smokers are tellin it true. Def give those grows a journal!
My buddy lit send a bag of 80-100 retro seeds. He said they are the original mother strains that everything else was crossed from including the original granddaddy purp and King kush, harlequin, panama red. I believe him he's sent me some of the original chemdawg seeds as well. One of my plants is a chemdawg and it came from chemdawg himself bout to head in my room now and snap some photos. Also anyone tried the King Kong strain yet? Paid 2600$ for a lb I'm pretty satisfied it's ed rosenthal and something else smells like a fresh batch of canna butter lol . And I'll def be making a journal for then I'll be moving in the next month so in trying to finish these up while real estate agents and strangers are in and out all day looking at the house lol. Week 3 flowering (slowly but surely lol) I have all females but the one I broke looks like it might be germinated not sure yet. One is developing pistils everywhere ( the biggest chocolope that I thought was male at first lol. The chocolope are trying to suffocate my chemdawg lol. I have way to much side growth with my LST.
