This is a primary reason I am a paid member of this site. Awareness is on the rise, MMJ is on a roll. Don't get lost in the smoke. If you have a few extra bucks lying around help this site thrive, be a paid member if you have the extra money!

PHILADELPHIA - On average, states allowing the medical use of marijuana have lower rates of deaths resulting from opioid analgesic overdoses than states without such laws. Opioid analgesics, such as O(an unmentionable), P(an umentionable) and V(an unmentionable), are prescribed for moderate to severe pain, and work by suppressing a person's perception of pain. A new multi-institutional study, published in JAMA Internal Medicine and led by researchers at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, examined the rate of deaths caused by opioid overdoses between 1999 and 2010. Results reveal that on average, the 13 states allowing the use of medical marijuana had a 24.8 percent lower annual opioid overdose mortality rate after the laws were enacted than states without the laws, indicating that the alternative treatment may be safer for patients suffering from chronic pain related to cancer and other conditions.

LOL! yes, sorry thought it would help the site. I can see that people who like the free ride are going to lose their minds. Also I unintentionally see how shallow people will miss the primary message of the life saving benefits of MMJ.

If you edit your quote I will edit the main post so it does not seem so negative. I would like to get the right vibe on this topic.

i changed it anyway. Is that a smoother smoke in your pipe?
