This was takin after i got it, like a few hours after. Which was like, 4-5 months ago. The original idea was based around the head, and the head was conceptually baed on a digimon, Antylamon to be exact. I formulated a design i like in my head after i first drew the head as a junior in high school. At first i called him my evil jester rabbit, as i envisioned him with a full body jump suit, like a jester might wear. I also originally had him holding a skull dangling from a spinal cord in his right hand. I thought over it and figured it was too dark for what i felt i had become (as a person) so i switched it to flaming orbs. Life, (green) and death (black). It cost me around 250 to get done, and i wannt get it touched up a bit before i get the colour in. Also, the guy that did it, was visiting Fairbanks from Houston for 2 weeks and i was able to catch him before he flew back. Thats also why (in fairbanks) it was cheaper then it would normally be. He said he was excited to do this peace and he cut me a deal. I'm really happy with how it turned out, Just get it touched up in some spots and then colour and BAM.
Nice! Line work looks solid. And I thought that looked like a digimon! Not my style, but doesn't mean I can't appreciate a well done tattoo when I see one. I like that you kind of made it your own. Makes it more personal. Good shit man
