No, I make my own conclusions, and often suspend them due to lack of real/convincing evidence. :)

"Trust the MEDIA" is an unacceptable overgeneralization.

Media is a blanket term. Each show is its one thing made by its own person.

I don't trust or distrust the "media" any more than I trust or distrust "people's in general

  9. Absolutely not. I feel like the media is one large never ending soap opera infused with drama and curiosity. Ever notice how every mainstream news network is constantly talking about the same exact current events? Its almost like they are running out of interesting topics to discuss, so they drag out these events to keep people watching.

  10. The combination of federal government and the media is one of the most powerful tools in this country. I woke up to that during the 1978- 79 "oil crisis" What a crock.

And you remember when Goerge W Bush ignored the UN and went into Iraq? SOAD wrote a song about that.

  11. Whenever it comes to science, you should never trust the media. Writers are just looking to put up a big headline that gets people to read. Science news from any mms source is pretty much always complete sensationalized, usually inaccurate, bullshit that dumbs everything down. A good rule of thumb is that if they don't provide links to their sources or legitamate sources, then they are probably full of shit.

  12. Media is the medium for the oligarchical collective to retain the minds of billions. Why would they need money? They own the printers! A soul is immeasurable by any currency, but that is how they steal power, and that is why many are in denial. I used to call their agenda the shadow monopoly, but not anymore it's surfaced now. It's just raw fascism, and they're no longer hiding it. Right in front of the peoples faces, double-think has everyone all locked down. Ready to swiftly accept a lie over the truth, for their own safety... I mean really, who's threatening the people? Is it external or internal threats keeping everyone stupid? But the governments many oppressing actions speak louder than the governments many oppressing lies. Sooner you figure these things out, sooner you may act on it. People shout at each other, "WAKE UP!" When in reality, no one can ever wake up as long as this totalitarianism is going on. I'm dead asleep, I'm going to admit. But I am aware enough, to practice what I preach, and there isn't no one alive to tell me i cannot.

  14. really?

Frankly I trust independent YouTube sources more than fox news.

Sounds crazy? Not so.much when you realize that the big news stations are owned by big interests

  15. LOL the power of the UN veto is a double edged sword. Russia is playing the game well as we speak. trust the media? Sometimes I doose and sometimes i donts.

  16.
They are almost all owned by pretty much the same company too, no?

Old School Smoker---- System of a Down is media too, yes?  :confused_2:

  17. pretty.much.

It can be hard to sift through the lies and bullshit.

And sometimes there is no lie. They are just sincerely wrong.
