I have a two piece and 4 piece santa cruz shredders and I love them both but after enough use with each I must say I like the 2 piece more. While the 4 piece collects kief it is also a lot more maintenance with the cleaning; and fumbling around with the compartments is kinda annoying sometimes. I like the two piece more because it so much simpler with two pieces and requires less cleaning and you get more trichs per bowl unlike the 4 piece which collects them at the bottom. thoughts??
I like 2 piece grinders to take with you when you're smoking outside/at someone else's house, it's easier to take with you. 4 piece grinders are perfect when you're smoking at home, and admit it, it's pretty fancy

i have a 5 piece grinder with a double kief catcher. its 3 inches in diameter. the best to use, but can really only use it at home because it is so big and bulky. normally I grind a small amount in the 5 piece grinder and put it in a medicine bottle if I am on the go, but I would really like a 2 piece one for on-the-go tokes
4 piece all the way. I liked 2 for portability but I quickly realized that the "extra trichs" you get from a 2 piece you don't even notice at the time, but you sure as hell notice when you rip kief bowls later on.
